#WorshipForWhoHeIs
“``So our worship should not end on Sunday and not end when I stop feel like worshiping. It has to be centered on who God is and who his character tells us he is. True worship happens even when you're tired, even when you're distracted, even when you're going through something. It's a posture of the heart and not a basis of our feelings. Worship isn't a response to a good song or a good preaching. It's a response to how worthy God is. And so this is the challenge that we have to make for ourselves in this basis of worship That it's always, always, always, always, always, always about the blesser and never about the blessing.”

#WorshipWithTruthAndHeart
“It's possible to have emotion without truth. You can have truth without emotion, but God wants both. We have to have emotion and we have to have truth when we come to worship with him. God isn't looking for perfect voices, but he's looking for genuine hearts. And I think something that's something that we have to understand and worship in every facet of life. That whenever we come to worship, we have to be authentic and we have to be genuine with God. Worship is a lifestyle. It's not a singular moment.”

#GiveYourBestSacrifice
“give your bodies to God because of all he's done for you. And then the next sentence is, let them be a living and holy sacrifice. Here's this word again, sacrifice. The kind that he will find acceptable. And this is the hard part. This is where it becomes sticky. Right? In the second portion, the kind that would be acceptable to God. If you know, what was an acceptable acceptable sacrifice in the old testament? Was it just whatever? Was it whatever we had left over? Whatever energy we had, whatever crops we had, whatever lamb, you know, that that one's good enough. Bring it over here. Right? No. It was the best, and it was the first.”

#KnowGodThroughScripture
“Read the bible for yourself. Don't have an understanding of God because of what the pastor says. Don't have just a a a simple understanding of God just because of the stories you learned in Sunday school. No. Go out and open the bible yourself and try to find out, do I truly believe this book or not? Do I truly believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah or not? Do I truly truly believe that God loves me or not? So we have to understand, in order to have proper worship to God, we have to know who God is.”
