#LoveOverPride
“``You know what the truth of the matter is? This is my personal feelings. I'll apologize to somebody even if I didn't do anything wrong. Even if I'm not in the wrong, Who cares when it comes to mended relationships, when it comes to eternity? My pride is not bigger than somebody's salvation, than somebody's relationship. I apologize even if I'm not right wrong. You know why? Because it's covered in love. It's covered by love. My love is so deep to see people healed and and relationships put back together and people find, Christ and and live for him and and have a relationship with him, that that if I have to apologize, if I have to eat crow, I'll eat crow. Because none of that matters in light of eternity. But what does matter is that people live in healed relationships.”

#FirstStepsToHeal
“I I I'm so thankful that Jesus didn't say, I'm a wait till people ask me to die on the cross, and then I'll do it. I'm a wait to be the sacred until somebody comes to me and says, you know, God, I want you to forgive me, then I'll go die on the cross, then I'll pay for your sin, then I'll take care of it. He didn't do that. The scripture says that before God created the earth and spoken into existence, Jesus had already planned to go to the cross to die for our sin. Healing of relationships means that we take the first steps.”

#CreatedForConnection
“We as human beings are designed to live in relationship. When God created us, he created us with a drive to have relationships. That's why God created Adam and Eve. He put them in the garden, and he would go and walk with them and visit with them in the garden each and every evening because he wanted to have relationship. That's the whole purpose of salvation and Jesus being the ultimate sacrifice on the cross is because he wants to have relationship with you and I. We are designed to have relationship, and the enemy wins when he can divide relationships. And so God wants to heal relationships. We have to understand that all things are possible. Even relationships who have been years upon years upon years in fighting and arguing and and fussing and not getting along, God wants to heal those relationships. All things are possible.”

#BeTheOneToReachOut
“The healing of relationships means that we take the first steps. This is a tough one. This is a tough one. I don't know how many times I've heard people say, and it's sad, but it's foolish. They know what they did to me. And as soon as they come apologize to them, then I'll forgive them. Anybody ever guilty of saying that? You ain't gotta raise your hand. I'm gonna make you feel embarrassed. They know what they did. And as soon as they come and ask for forgiveness or apologize, then I'll forgive them. The the the healing of relationships means that we as believers, we as those who are trying to follow God, take the first steps. Healing never happens when we sit back and say, well, they know what they did. I'll wait till they come to me.”

#HandleItPrivately
“Keeping things private does not mean that we cover them up. It's not a cover up. It it's not trying to hide things, but it's it's it's keeping it between the the parties that are offended, the parties that are fighting. Because you know what happens in both scenarios? The enemy wins. When there's division, the enemy wins. When there's a cover up, the enemy wins. Satan is the father of lies. All he wants to do is lie. And so if if if he can get us covering up offenses and he can get us, gossiping about offenses, then he's won both ways. The only way to glorify God in our healing of relationships is to deal with it one on one.”

#GoToThemDirectly
“K? Matt Matthew 18 tells us that if your brother or sister has something against you, go to them privately first. You know what we do? Not y'all. Of course not. You know what other people do when they have conflict? They go tell somebody else about it. You ain't gonna believe what they did to me. You ain't gonna believe what they said to me. Rock no count good for nothing. They just gonna do it right to my face, and they said this, this, this. Those people did it. And that's what we do, ain't we? Don't we? We take conflict, and we we go tell other people about it. Instead of going directly to that person and say, hey. You hurt my feelings. What you said hurt me. What you did hurt me. What you did is not right. What you did is wrong. And you know what? If if we would do that in our relationships, it it brings healing.”

#NeverGiveUpOnRelationships
“And I know we're sitting here thinking about relationships that we have and thinking about we've tried and we failed and we're we are what is it? Hurt me once. Shame on you. Hurt me twice. Shame on me. Is that how it goes? And that's what we do as human beings is, oh, I've already tried to mend this relationship. I've already tried to go to them. I've already tried the forgiveness over and over again. But I'm telling you this. Glad Jesus never gives up. I'm glad God never gave up on me. Every time I walked away, every time I ran, every time I turned away, every time I said, I don't have anything to do with you. And yet he still, just as he did the prodigal son, he leaves the 99. He chases after the one. And how are we supposed to be any different? Healing of relationships makes takes us making the first steps, the first steps to reconciliation.”

#GodHealsRelationships
“Everything is possible with God. And so when we're talking about the healing of relationships, we're talking about the healing between you and your siblings, you and your father and your mother, you and your friends, your coworkers, whatever it is, that healing of relationships. I think if we were all honest with ourselves, we would all say there are relationships that we have in life that are strained, that are are not good relationships at all. And the sad part of it is most of us have difficult relationships in our families. We have, siblings that that we we fight with or we can't get along with. We have parents that that raises and treat us in a certain way, so we can't reconcile with them. We can't have a healed relationship with them. But see, what God wants to do in our lives is he not only wants to heal our physical body and our spiritual body as well as our mind, but he wants to heal those relationships.”
