#HeIsRisen
“And just in those words, he is not here. He is risen. Friends, this is the very foundation of Christianity. If this isn't isn't true and if we can't believe this, then everything else falls apart and unravels. This is the foundation that it all stands on. This is the moment in which human history pivots. This is the moment that sends a shockwave to all of the past and all of the future throughout all time and unlocks a whole new reality and a whole new understanding of what is happening in the world and especially for those who were right there walking with Jesus in this moment to where it looked like utter failure. Like, what what has happened? We didn't think we we thought this was real. We thought he's bringing his kingdom and all this stuff and it and it and it all seems to fall apart.”

#WoundsBringHealing
“And the soldiers that take him and flog him and and and stretch out his arm and his hand onto that cross and nail those nails into his hand, they have no idea. They just think they're hanging up another rebel, to show everyone else to keep silent. They have no idea that they are nailing their very own sins to this cross and the sins of all of humanity and all of those accusations that the enemy wants to bring to you and me about our shortcomings and our sin and our shame and our past and all these memories and things that keep us on the sidelines, that Jesus takes those up into himself and that those are nailed to the cross in that moment there. The very wounds of Jesus that he suffers and that are on full display, the people walk by and they shake their head just like looking at him, looking at the frailty and the weakness in all of those moments and no one knows or gets in that moment, but it's by those wounds that we will find healing.”
