#QuietService
“Many of the good things he did was quiet and it was unseen, bringing papers to the neighbor's doors in the morning, helping parishioners with finances and advice, caring for family members, helping them too with financial things, praying faithfully for others. These are precisely the kinds of works. This is what Jesus is telling us in the gospel today. You wanna know what does it mean to live out the good news? What does it mean to be my follower? Jesus is saying the gospel. This these are the signs of the kingdom.”

#HumbleService
“He would use all those gifts, not just primarily for himself, but for so many others. Helping people, helping family members, I'm sure for many years with tax returns. Keeping the financial books for Saint Anthony Church and school entirely free of charge for so many years. He was always volunteering wherever he saw a need, but especially when the need included a gift that he had. And though he was naturally shy, he was always willing to put himself out there for the good of others. That is what humility really is. That's humility in real action. You see his faith was not abstract. It was lived out, lived out daily.”
