#JesusOffersPeace
“The very first thing that Jesus offered his followers when he broke in was peace. He didn't scold them from for hanging out, afraid and uncertain. He wasn't disappointed that they weren't out telling other people about the resurrection or worshiping in his name. Instead, he offered peace, not once, not twice, but three times. Three times Jesus offered peace to this group of people that were hiding in fear. Clearly, this peace offering is not to be missed.”

#ResurrectionCommunity
“And so it is here each and every time that we gather for worship. And in both places, there is joy, there's confession, a proclamation of and of peace, and then ascending. And right alongside of that, there is doubt, there is fear, there is skepticism, locked off hearts and minds. I'd say that this is a pretty good representation of the resurrection community. All kinds of different, distinctive, and diverse people bound together in the promise of the resurrection we are experiencing is comes to us through the peace of Christ, and then we are sent out into the world to make a difference.”
