1) "We as believers in Christ we have a genetic problem it's called sin It goes back to the first three chapters in the Bible. Adam and Eve, the first ones. That's a sin condition. So genetically, we have a sin. We are predisposed to sin. But just because we are predisposed to sin does not mean we have to give in to it. Does not mean that we have to live according to sin. We can live in freedom. Am I right?" [50:41] (30 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

2) "We are pressed on every side by troubles. But we're not crushed. We are perplexed. Not driven to despair. We are hunted down but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down but not destroyed. Knocked down. What this means is thrown to the ground. Prostrate. Sometimes things happen in life and they throw us to the ground. There's nothing to do but just lay there. Right? But really what this is. We've been knocked down. We're not destroyed. I'm not in permanent destruction. I am not at the end. I am not with no way out. There is a way out." It determines everything about your life stems from your heart right here. It's the center part of your being here. So our joy, our destiny, our purpose, all come from our heart. So we are told to guard our hearts. That's what. We're judged according to the condition of our hearts. Our heart is very, very important."
