“Faith is our access point to the presence of God and to the storehouse of heaven. Heaven's resources are accessed and made available by faith. God's presence is accessed by faith. It's not just um something's going on this morning that's supernatural. It's not just a big guy talking, but you know what should be happening is the minister ought to be spending time with the Lord during the week.”
“Just the same way if God said it it would move. Now the thing is our words need to be linked up with his word with his will because you just can't be running around jibber jabbering and having stuff flying all around. It don't work that way. It our our faith is maintained to our connection with him.”
“Now, there's not a demon in hell that can stop you from receiving from God because faith comes by hearing. Only thing that can stop you is you. Now, the devil will apply pressure. Come on, somebody. He'll try to distract you, try to get you to fall for the okey dope. But the only person that can stop you is you.”
“There's a direct a direct correlation between hearing the written word of God and you hearing God speak to you or to direct you by his spirit. I so every year we go to Texas for a minister's conference and since January and I actually text Tom they got their invitation.”
“Ask me what total immersion is. What is total immersion? That's when you spend the majority of your time in this one subject, this one topic. There's actually um a a method of teaching about total immersion especially with learning a language or a new skill where we had a young lady I think she was from France she came and visit us and she was in the city to learn English and the the the the um the class she was taking was a total immersion class you spend most of your time most of your day studying thinking speaking the language you're trying to learn.”
“It's dependent on you. Now, there's not a demon in hell that can stop you from receiving from God because faith comes by hearing. Only thing that can stop you is you. Now, the devil will apply pressure. Come on, somebody. He'll try to distract you, try to get you to fall for the okey dope. But the only person that can stop you is you.”
“Some of some of us are sad because we're we're thinking delusional thoughts. What how you think it is is not even real. It's a picture being painted for you by the devil straight from the pit of hell and you believe it.”
“You can't use the world's methods and get God's results. You can't copy and paste the world's mess on top of on top of the word of God and expect to get the desired result.”
“God isn't holding back what we need, but we're restraining his hand because we are unwilling or don't recognize we need to change. Say it quiet. Nobody get mad. All right. That they should be converted or changed and that their sins should be forgiven them.”
“This type of person or this type of hearer of the word did not receive because of distractions. What are you thinking about? You know, you you don't have to think everything. Just because somebody knocks at your door mean you have to let them in and entertain them. Just because a thought comes don't mean you have to entertain it.”
“If you don't guard your heart and your mind, you'll come to church and man, you highlight in your Bible, you get up every morning, you pray and you oh yes, Lord, but you got that stuff in your heart. I'm sorry. Go ahead. Okay. So Proverbs 4:23 says, "Keep your heart with all diligence, right? For out of it are the issues of life, right?”
“The good ground had to go through all that stuff. But they they went through it when when there was a lack of understanding. They spent enough time in God's word and God's presence to get understanding. When the pressure came against them instead of responding in emotionally or according to their preference of their habits, they spent enough time and they prayed for other people and people messed with them.”
“The key to growth and development is staying connected to Jesus. Now he's going to use a word here. We're going to reading from the Amplified Classic. He's going to use the word abide. And the word abide in the Greek means to remain. It means to stay. It means to abide. It means to continue. It means to dwell. It means to endure.”
“A good farmer will prune a tree of its old growth to make it ready for the new season and the new growth and development. That may hurt if you're a tree. Use it as a personal thing. And so sometimes we're going through stuff and God is trying to remove stuff to make us ready for the new season.”
“If you live in me, abide mightily united to me and my words, somebody say words. Words remain in you and continue to live in you. Live in your hearts. Ask whatever you will. Yes. And it shall be done unto you. Yes. When was the last time you prayed and something actually happened? Have you been abiding? Have you been taking up residence?”
“Humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts. The King James says the engrafted word. The word engrafted just means implanted word. That's what's happening this morning. The word is being planted in your heart. Your response will determine what if anything you receive from it. Huh? Humbly accept the word of God which has been implanted in your hearts for for it has the power, somebody says power. Power to save your souls, your mind, your will, your emotions.”
