48s
“Eventually, the problem was solved from talking to some people that have been had this experience. Go in, dig out the window well. It wasn't drained properly. The soil compacted. The soil is full of clay. It's hard. You gotta dig down and redo the project, redo the drainage so then the water drains as it should. Also, get some window wall covers. Right? The lesson I learned is sometimes when you're treating the symptom, the symptom is gonna keep happening until you treat the main problem. Sometimes we try to treat the symptom in our life, but unless you go to the source and treat the main problem, the symptom is gonna keep happening.”

“Why can't I sit alone and just be with my thoughts? Why am I always trying to escape scrolling, watching, buying, clicking? Why do I need to control? Why am I tired all the time? Why does this temptation of such a strong hold on me? Why can't I change the way my brain thinks? See, these aren't necessarily behavior questions. These are heart questions.”
71s
“So I think the scriptures, I think Jesus calls us to wrestle with the deeper questions, to allow the Holy Spirit to work in our hearts, to allow transformation, to allow healing. Questions like, what's happening in my heart? Why am I so angry? Like, why is it hard to forgive this person? is there just a low grade of bitterness and angst in my heart? Why is success and money so important to me? Why am I drawn to live this kind of lifestyle? Why do the opinions of others matter so much to me? Like, this one person says something and I am wrecked because I didn't get their approval.”
