The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and swed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown, it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches. [00:18:56]

The Kingdom of Heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour till it was all leavened. Now these Parables have been understood in very different ways. Some Christians have understood these Parables as a prophecy of unrivaled success. [00:23:40]

Always understand scripture in the light of scripture. God has spoken in scripture, and he never contradicts himself. So we must not interpret one part of the Bible in a way that would directly contradict another. [00:41:00]

The progress comes in two ways. The first is the visible growth that we see in the advance of the Gospel around the world. The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and swed in his field. [00:47:34]

Christ's Kingdom has a small beginning, but it will lead to a great outcome. Now think about the small beginning. Our Savior was poor in this world, and he was put to death beside two thieves on a cross. [00:50:59]

The Christian faith began as a tiny grain of mustard seed, but the seed had life in it, and from these Small Beginnings, the gospel spread through the Roman Empire and then to Europe, India, Africa, Asia, and around the world. [00:54:21]

The Church of Jesus Christ is the only organization on Earth that has never lost a member through death. Every time a Christian dies, another member of the body of Christ is safely home. [00:57:40]

The Kingdom of Heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour till it was all leavened. Leaven is a substance like yeast that produces fermentation in dough, causing it to rise when it is baked. [01:01:19]

When God's grace comes into your heart, it's like a little leaven being hidden within the D of your life. Think about how that began. You began to feel an Awakening to spiritual things, perhaps a dissatisfaction in your own life as it was. [01:05:15]

The leaven is in you, and the leaven is a living organism. The spirit of Jesus lives in you, and here's what will happen: his grace, like leaven, will permeate your entire life. Every part of your life, soul, and body will be changed. [01:09:29]

The day will come when the new life that Jesus has birthed within you will permeate all that you are, Body, Soul, and Spirit. When you see Jesus, you're going to be like him. All of your thoughts, your affections, your desires, they're all going to be fully under the reign of Christ. [01:13:21]

The life-changing power of the Gospel is at work in the world, and through the gospel, Jesus is gathering a people for himself, and not one of them will be lost. So give yourself to sewing this seed, however hard the work to which you've been called is. [01:18:09]
