#EternalLifeInChrist
“``Look at that. Simple as that. Knowing god is eternal life. Knowing god is life. Knowing god gives us life. Knowing god energizes us, gives us a source, right? He says, and this is eternal life that they may know you. The only true god and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. That's why Jesus could say, I'm the living waters. That's why Jesus could say, I'm the light of the world. That's why Jesus could say, I'm the bread of life. Because if we eat of him, if we learn about him, if we meditate on him, it's gonna give us us life. It's gonna quicken our mortal mortal body to and to be energized with something other than stuff in this world.”

#KnowGodBeStrong
“That word can be studied there. The knowledge of the lord to know god. That that means an intertwining with god, a constant knowledge, a constant continual continual unfolding of the lord. Anybody ate a blooming onion lately at one of the steak steak restaurants, right? A blooming onion. It just keeps unfolding, right? That blooming onion just the pieces keep on the petals keep on unfolding. Similar to thinking about how god just keeps unfolding even more than that. He unfolds constantly. He says, the people who know their god are constantly experiencing more and more knowledge of the lord, right? The people who know their god shall be strong and shall carry out great exploits. Look, look at the order here. Let's let's reverse the order just for the fun of it. You ready? Those who do great exploits are carrying out great exploits are strong and they'll know god. It's the other way, right? He doesn't say, if you carry out great exploits, you'll know me. No, he says, if you know me, if you know me, you'll be strong. If you know me, you'll carry out great exploits. If you know me, these things will come. This protection will come.”

#PursueTheLord
“So, pursuing the lord is a worthy pursuit. It's the greatest pursuit of our lives and as we as we move that way, there's so many blessings that are expounded to us and and it is something that that will change your life. No dry season. Right? We should have no dry season as we seek him. If you feel a dry season in in your life, just get get beside your bed and say, lord, I wanna know you. Lord, your kingdom come. Your will be done. God, your will be done. Your your revelation come to my life. I seek you, father. I wanna know you more than I've ever known you before. Search me and know me, lord. Right? Pursuing him, god will answer. He will show up. He says, he says it there in Hosea. He will show up when you call out to him. Ain't that good news?”

#NoDrySeason
“So, he is connecting it that grace and peace will be multiplied as you get more knowledge of god. Look at that. As you get more knowledge of the lord, these things will be multiplied in your life. Grace and peace. God's ability and god's presence, right? God's peace. He says, he will keep at perfect peace. Right? Is that Isaiah twenty six three? Is that it? Twenty six three. He will keep at perfect peace those whose minds is stayed upon him. He will keep him at perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon him. So, pursuing the lord is a worthy pursuit. It's the greatest pursuit of our lives and as we as we move that way, there's so many blessings that are expounded to us and and it is something that that will change your life.”

#BornToSeek
“So let's go on through this paragraph here. We are born asking the ultimate questions. Who is the creator? Who am I? Why am I here? This is not an accidental curiosity. It is a spiritual homing mechanism. History shows that humanity has always reached out into the dark to find the divine, trying to understand the character of the one who set the stars in space, right, in place. We instinctively know that we cannot truly understand ourselves. So we understand this. Right? Especially Christ followers. We understand we can't understand even us, ourselves, unless we know the one who made us. So that's a key for us as Christ followers to know god because that'll open up the reason we were created and what he put in us, right, from his his character and and his facets of of glory.”

#FindingYourWayHome
“finding your way home. Right? There's movies about that how one of the animals found its way home after getting lost or after, you know, being separated in a storm or something. So that that spiritual homing mechanism is in us. We have a a desire to find God, to find home, to find the the things of God in our in our hearts and minds. We're after that. Even if it's on you know, even if it's, you guys know, even even if it wasn't really described to us, there is that hunger in every person and that can be, of course, you know, pushed down. It can be, you know, it can be attempted to be eradicated by people. It can be if a a person's in a a very abusive situation. It can be, you know, stifled. It can be stifled sometimes in people's lives, but there is still that little signal in us that's going, hey, I wanna find god. You know, I wanna find the reason that I exist.”

#GodIsInfinite
“I don't think we're anywhere close to exhausting the glory of God or the presence of God. We're nowhere near exhausting his beauty, his power, his glory, his his his knowledge, his understanding. We're nowhere near exhausting that. God is great. God is wonderful. God is multifaceted. God is multidimensional, and he lets us know him. Ain't that awesome? To know the lord and he loves us. Right? His loving kindness, his heart towards us. He's not just pushing us off like, you don't know nothing. Get away from me. He's inviting us to know him, you know, and to encounter him and to spend time with him. Let's look at the next scripture, Colossians one and verse 10.”

#HeartOverRituals
“God knew the depth of his intention, his heart. Right? And if you think about it on Sundays, you know, you got people that they can worship good, but is their heart there? Is their heart really worshiping god? Or are they checked out? Or are they playing the game with God? Or they you know, some reason, they're not not making it close not making an effort to get close to God. They're letting something stop them from pursuing God. God rejected Cain for that because Cain's heart wasn't in it, and God rejected him. If your heart isn't in it, you're gonna be rejected. And look at this. He he tells us this, that God wants us to more than rituals, you know, some people don't even they don't even need to come to church because they're not in church when they come. Somebody say amen. Unfortunately, that's the way it is sometimes. Now if you're coming to get a hold of God and learn and grow and things, that's one thing. But some people come to church just for the ritual, but their heart is far from it. If that's the case, you're in danger. Right? We're in danger if somebody's living that way. Hosea six six, he says, for I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and I desire and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”
