“Church, I don't think any of us are ever going to pre impress God by our good behavior. Amen? I always like to find out who's the most notorious sinner because you give the loudest amen in those moments. And I have an idea. That's the back right. one thing I do hope we impress God by is how much we truly love him. Giving him our time when we ain't got much of it. Giving our finances until we have to rely on him to provide. And loving our neighbor even when they're a jackwagon That's right. As we love ourselves. Amen. Church, impress your God by how much you truly love and adore him. Yes.”

“What's the meaning of life? I believe it's to love God and to love others the way that you love yourself. That's right. What are you supposed to do when you leave church this morning? Love God and love others the way that you love yourself. Amen. Yes. What are you supposed to do with your spouse? Love God and love your spouse as you love yourself. What are you supposed to do with that person in your life that is a complete jackwagon? I'm looking at no. I'm just kidding. I was looking at the section. Love I would say love God and love me as you because it's probably me. But that person is just frustrating you. Love God and love them the way that you love yourself. I bet you, you'd show them a little more grace, a little more patience.”

My brothers and sisters, one thing I think we are really good with at church is overcomplicating two things, religion and relationships. Man has tried to live by 613 laws to know God. He simply invites you to love him and watch how every other thing just trickles down from that. Church, love the one true God with the entirety of your being, and love your neighbor as you love yourself.”

“But I love that in these last moments before Jesus goes to the cross, he's asked an important question And it's almost like in Jesus' mind, how can I say this the simplest way possible? Because this is the most important thing that they will ever hear. And the scribe essentially asked Jesus this, what is the most important thing to God? What is the North Star by which I will guide my entire life? Jesus, if I had to do one thing right, what is the one thing that I should do right? And our God, he gives a simple answer with no confusion. Actively, love God with your entire being. Secondly, love everyone the same way you love yourself. We'll get a bit deeper into that in a little bit later, but I really want you to understand how profound, how attainable, how clear, and how simple this is.”
