Day 1: Embracing Our Identity as Servant Missionaries
At Grace Life Baptist Church, the concept of being a "family of servant missionaries" is central to the church's identity. This identity is not just a label but a call to action, rooted in the nature of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Members are encouraged to see themselves as part of a spiritual family, where love, service, and mission are paramount. This means moving beyond mere attendance and engaging in meaningful relationships and service within the church and the broader community. By embracing this identity, members reflect the love and mission of Christ, living out their faith in tangible ways that impact those around them.
1 Peter 4:10-11 (ESV): "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ."
Reflection: Who in your community can you serve this week, and how can you reflect Christ's love in that service?
