#LeadWithGrace
“So in an increasingly post Christian and maybe even pre Christian culture, how do we live faithfully for Jesus? We lead with grace, but we never compromise the truth. Christians, we lead with grace but we never compromise the truth. Because when you know the truth, the truth will set you free. When you meet with his grace, you'll be overwhelmed that God could love you so much that he would send his son to die in your place.”

#GraceAndFreedom
“Grace. What is grace? That scandalous, undeserved, irrational, lavish grace of Jesus poured out for you and for me on the cross. What is truth? Truth is the chain breaking, sin shattering, intimacy building, life giving truth of Jesus Christ. And when you get to know him, the word became the word made flesh, you can't help but want more of him. When Jesus came, he didn't come to condemn the world. I said that once. He came to love the world and to set the world free.”

“It starts with Jesus. It ends with Jesus and everything in between is about Jesus. It's not behavior based, it's Christ based. Grace and truth. And we need to recognize, and this is so important, that the post Christian generation, the post Christian generation is very very skeptical about truth. In fact if anyone claims to know the truth, oh I know the truth and this is truth, many times they think you're either arrogant or you're dangerous. Well who are you to say that that's true? Or you hear things like well what's true for you is not true for me. And if we lead with truth, many times it's off putting to people who would say well I'm not even on a truth quest. I'm not looking for truth. Why are you leading with this? I'm not even looking for it. In fact,”

#BeyondHype
“And my fear is that there are so many people today just getting little snippets of Jesus. There are people today that are getting just enough of Jesus. We go in and there's this great worship experience and we all get hyped up and we all put our hands up in the air and we all come to the altar and we we get all hyped up and we get just enough of Jesus to make us feel good but not enough to make us different. People are going and getting just enough Jesus to keep them out of hell and make them feel good but not enough to make them different.”
