#JesusGatheringUs
“``The judge has already been judged for you. The one who will come in glory has already come in weakness. The one who will bring light has already experienced darkness, so that you could stand in the light. We are reminded once again that Jesus is coming back. Jesus will gather his people and Jesus will make all things new. In the old testament, God promises to gather his scattered people from the ends of the earth, from Babylon, from the nations, from the exile. Now the gathering is not to Jerusalem, which is about to be destroyed, the gathering is to Jesus himself, the new temple that he said that he will rebuild in three days. The new temple, he is the one who will bring his people with the feasts. And because he did that for you, because you are reminded of who he is and what he has done, you can watch, you can endure, and no matter what is happening, you can trust him.”

#ResurrectionPowerInYou
“The same power that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in you. The power that held him through the darkness now holds you. So, when your world shakes, know that you are not alone cause the one who conquered even death is with you. Deuteronomy said that anyone hung on a tree is cursed by God. Jesus was hung on a tree, the cross. He became the cursed one for you. He took the judgment that the fig tree symbolized. He bore the curse so that you could receive only the blessing. Which means that when your personal world is shaking, you are not being judged. You are standing under the sky that has already been cleared. The curse is gone. For those who belong to Jesus, you are safe.”

#LoveProvedOnTheCross
“Judgment happened on that day. The one who loved God with all his might, his soul, his strength, his will, the one who had never sinned, bible says, became sin for you. The one who had never known darkness experienced, went through darkness for you. The sun went dark so that we can stand in the light. This is what he did for you and let it linger, let it sit in your heart, let it sit in your mind to see that's how much he loves you. 2,000 ago, he already proved his love on the cross there's no way he's gonna change today. Right?”

#DontAnchorToEmpires
“Look at our skyline, the tower of finance, the temple of hyperefficiency. There's a famous saying in Cantonese, Don't rush. All you have to do is just be quick. The temple of pragmatism. they are beautiful, but at the same time, I have to point out that they can be unforgiving because the world promised you significance, security, a name that matters and yet the world will spit you out the moment you stop performing, meeting the demand. The promise is a lie. Jesus looked at the skyline of the central and he says that not one stone will be left on another. My encouragement is do not anchor your soul to an empire that is scheduled for demolition.”
