#SubstitutedByGrace
“``Church, we are Barabbas, I am Barabbas, I am guilty of what we have done, of what we have thoughts, and yet, his deliberate plan was to take our place. He is our substitute. See, the crowd had a plan, but God has the plan. God has the plan for our redemption, and so how can we receive that? It is a free gift if we recognize our guilt, recognize our sin, repent, and believe.”

#InnocenceSetsUsFree
“That the mocked king, he would be mocked because they saw him as foolish, weak, fraud, and a failure. But, oh, the depths and riches and wisdom of God, that by his deliberate plan of foreknowledge, he would bring him out the cross for our redemption. That while we and our guilt are like Barabbas, he and his innocence sets us free. And so, may the purposes of God, his plan, that we would die to sin and live for righteousness be brought about.”

#DieToSinLiveForRighteousness
“So that, why why did God do this? Why did Christ offer himself? So that we might die to sins. That sins have power over us, the sinful nature, but we might die to that and the penalty of sin broken and live for righteousness, to live in communion with God and to do life for him, with him. God has the plan. His plan is to love us, to be with us, and this plan will not fail. From beginning to end, this is what scripture testifies”

#ForeknownSacrificialLove
“There it says, God's deliberate plan and foreknowledge, that this was deliberate, that God had planned this out, he had made this choice. If you remember last week when pastor Joshua preached that while we pick up swords, Christ picked up the cup, that he did not turn away from the father's will, but took it willingly. This is love, his self giving love that is by this that we know his love, a love that is sacrificial.”
