#SavedByGrace
“``We are not saved by any work that we do. It's the finished work that Jesus said, Tetelestai on the cross. But now we are to give our life to him in righteous acts that honor and that please him. It doesn't earn our salvation. It's a result of our salvation. We don't do it to earn his love. We do it because we are loved. But do we know how much we are loved?”

#JesusIsKing
“So I think it's a big part of the gospel that he is king, that people know that. And as a king, we are to be subject to him. He not only saves us from, but saves us for himself. That's the whole gospel that we need to share. And that makes the next step in discipleship. Now you have a new life. You have a new lord. It's not about you. It's about him. But he loved you so much he gave himself for you.”

#FaithThatCommits
“You see, true faith means commitment far more than just mental ascent. We need to change our focus from a shallow gospel that centers in a savior that just helps that person and gives them everything they want to bring in the other shoe alongside the other half of that coin, the whole gospel that, yes, Jesus saves you. he also part of that saving faith has to have that allegiance now to him. Without that allegiance, it is not the whole gospel. I said we don't understand the word gift. You know, Ephesians two eight nine, we're saved by faith, is a gift of God, not as a result of works. But a gift in this that culture, in that day, and in most cultures even today, demands a reciprocal response.”

#SaviorAndKing
“Jesus as savior? But when we share people that, are we sharing the whole story? Or are there two sides of the same coin? You can't get a coin without two sides, an obverse and a reverse to it. So, therefore, you know, you're gonna cut that coin in half and then give it to somebody. You're not gonna buy one shoe. And I'm afraid the evangelical church has separated the gospel, And we're doing injustice to that, and it's why we're having a hard time making disciples. Because if we share somebody, Jesus as savior, it's all about them. And believe me, Jesus died for them. He loves them. They are important, but they are not the most important thing. He is. It's all about him. As the song said, he is savior king, not just savior.”
