46s
“Guys, the work of Jesus by itself is enough to save and sanctify the one who trusts in Jesus. We don't need to add anything to Jesus' work. Not a thing. Guys, we must put our confidence a 100% completely in Jesus and his righteousness and work on our behalf. A gospel that is 99% Jesus and 1% you is no gospel at all. It is bad news. It is not good news. It cannot help you. It won't help you. It will not save you. It will not change you.”

“Christ's death meant a death to the law, not from us following it for right? But from following it for salvation. Our old life, right, lived under the law is dead. It is dead. It is a dead man. Now we are alive to Christ, and Jesus and his grace is alive in us. The gospel frees us. There it is. It frees us from performance. It frees us from this fear. And through the spirit, we seek to obey out of joy and gratitude for what Jesus has done.”

“Guys, we see in verses 15 to 16, Peter is justified in God's eyes. So why does he need to be justified in anyone else's eyes? Right? To those Judaizers, he doesn't need to be. If Paul only said, yours your your separation is a violation of the rule of the rules, what would happen with his fear? What would happen with it? Well, he would probably be able to tuck it in deep inside. Right? But all of what happened was it would be dormant. Right? And it would just come out again some other time or in some other different way. It's not actually eliminating it. It's not killing it. Right? It's not killing it. But in reminding Peter that he is justified already, Paul is saying you don't need approval from those Judaizers, those people. You already have it in Christ. Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid.”
