#SpouseNotAboveChrist
“And if you could receive this church, for some people, the greatest distractions, they're not sinful things at all. They're good things that have gotten out of balance, That if I place my spouse over the top of Christ, I have a problem. If I make excuses that I'm married and thus I can't do, I can't obey the Lord, I can't have devotion to the Lord, I can't serve the Lord if you could receive that. Then clearly something has gotten out of balance.”

#EternalPriorities
“Eternal priorities. Paul wants the church to understand that marriage should not obstruct obedience to Christ. That is what he's saying. This is verse 29. And in these the the two following verses, verse 31, thirty and thirty one, he continues with that perspective that all the experiences that we have in this world are temporary, whether it's sorrow, whether it's joy, whether it's the possessions that we have in this life, no matter what it is. And they should not be given a place that outranks devotion to God. This is his thrust. This is his point, that all things in life are to be subordinate or subjected to Christ.”

#GiveJesusYourBest
“As in some of you are married, some of you are single, some of you perhaps have have become widowed. Maybe maybe some of you younger folks here in in the room, maybe you you wish to be married one day. Okay. Amazing. But please let us understand that whatever season that god has given you today, right now, that you're not to waste it. That's the idea. You are to arrange your life so that Jesus gets your best.”

#GuardAgainstDistraction
“Because of because of one of Satan's most effective strategies in this life that we live, it isn't always persecution. It's often distraction. Getting distracted from what God has set before us. And I'm not talking about cell phones, and I'm not talking about technology. I'm talking about the things that go on inside of our mind. I'm talking about the the pace of life. I'm talking about those commitments that that that that God will convict me of something, but rather than making a decision and and and and responding to the Lord with loyalty in that moment that we often reason away.”
