#JesusIsTheDoor
“``And Jesus says, I am the door. Whoever enters through me will be saved. Where else would you find forgiveness of sins than other than Jesus in the cross? Jesus says, he who believes in me will live even if he dies. Do you believe this? Can I ask it again? Jesus said, he who believes in me, even though he dies, will live. Do you believe this? But there's more good news. Your eternal life doesn't start when you die. It started when you believed. You're gonna live forever. Your body may die, this tent, but your soul's living forever.”

#JesusTheGoodShepherd
“John in John 10 verse 11, this is the verse that we didn't read. Jesus says, I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He did on a cross at Calvary where he was crucified and he died and was buried. And Jesus said it is finished. The sacrifice is done. Even though we were sinners, Christ died for us. To forgive us of our sins, he made that sacrifice. The good shepherd became the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.”

#AbundantLifeInJesus
“Those who come through the door of Jesus, he offers salvation and an abundant life. He's the door for the sheep, and don't let anybody else point you anywhere else. Salvation comes through Jesus alone. Abundant life comes through Jesus alone. And he said, you will go in and out and find pasture. So I'm gonna end with this. Imagine that is a great pasture out there of green grass and the blue sky. And the shepherd, his lettuce sheep out there, and they're happy sheep. That's Jesus says, I will when you open the door, I'll take you in to my little corral. I'll lie at the door, keep you safe. And then the morning, I'll lead you out into the green pastures.”

#LifeNowAndForever
“And as you live forever, Jesus says, I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly. Abundantly means beyond measure, beyond beyond belief, superior, extraordinary. And Jesus came that you may have an abundant life now. The joy of the Lord is your strength, and you can rejoice in your salvation every day knowing that nothing can happen to you today that's not apart from the will of God, one. Number two, the best day of your life is gonna be the day that you die and get to walk and to be in heaven. And what a day that will be. You'll see Peter and Johns, James, Luke, Paul, and Thomas has no doubts. You get to see the saints that have gone before you. What a day that will be because of your faith in Jesus Christ.”

#ReadAndDiscern
“Can I remind you of something? Just because someone's quote scripture doesn't mean they're right. You know, Satan knows the Bible better than you do, and he quoted scripture to Jesus when Jesus was tempted. And I'm just pleading with you. You gotta read this book. You gotta read the Bible. No one comes to the father but by me, Jesus says. I am the way, the truth, and the life. How do you avoid being deceived while you read this book? Be careful who you listen to. Be careful what you watch. Be careful what you eat. You are what you eat spiritually, and it's so important that you take an inventory also of the people you hang with. Who do you hang with? Who's your circle?”

#BeLikeTheBereans
“how are we to get how are we to stay faithful and not get misled? Well, there was a group of people in book of Acts chapter 17, the Berean Jews. There were no more nobler in character than those in Thessalonica. They received the message with great eagerness. They examined the scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. As a result, many of them believed, and as also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men, this is Acts 17 verse 11. The Bereans, no matter where you go to church, examine the scriptures to see if what the pastor is saying is true.”

#TestTheSpirits
“John wrote in first John four one, behold, do not be deceived. Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. So when you hear me preach, ask, is it in this book? If it is accepted, if it's not rejected. But first, you have to know it before you will know.”

#FaithComesByHearing
“What you listen to affects how you feel, how you believe, what you believe, and how you act. It's true. And it's also true spiritually. Who you listen to, what you listen to affects you spiritually. faith in God is about hearing God's word. If you don't hear anything else this morning, I want you to listen to this one scripture. It says, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. That's from Romans. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.”

#ResistTheThief
“And if the thief is unsuccessful at stealing, he'll probably try to get you to give up what you got. If he can't steal it from you, he'll try to convince you that you don't need it like the blind man. He'll try to create a stressful situation in your life. Think about it and say, do you really believe in God after going through that? Jesus said the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. Only. You get that word? Only. He has no other motive. His evil intentions. Thieves are still around today. I'm gonna tell you, thieves are still around.”

#GraceNotWorks
“You know, the Pharisees used God's word to support their ideas that their works is what brought you into the kingdom of God. Your works is what brought you closer to God. And if you have that in your head that your works can somehow bring you closer to God, then the Bible becomes just a self help book. Another self help book until you find a better self help book. And that's when you're deceived and you give up on the truth, and you create your own truth. And people do that all the time. All the different religions that are created in in the world is people seeking their own truth.”

#TraditionVsGrace
“It's evident in John nine what happened the chapter before what we just read, the good good shepherd chapter chapter 10, Jesus healed a blind man on the Sabbath. He'd been blind from birth. And the scribes and the Pharisees saw what happened. Instead of rejoicing with the blind man, they accused Jesus of healing on the Sabbath. They would have rather the man stay blind than him being healed because of their traditions, their own works they thought were important, not Jesus' works. And if they kept God's law perfectly, you know, they'd be alright with God. That's what they thought. They had turned the people away from God and turned them to good works. That's why Jesus calls them thieves and robbers. They were only concerned about themselves, people's praise. They were stealing people away from God.”

#DoorOfTheSheep
“Now Jesus says, am the door of the sheep. And we'll get to the meeting in a moment. Let that soak in. Jesus is the door of the sheep. And he makes the comparison between the shepherd, the true shepherd, and the thieves and the robbers. He said, all who came before me are thieves and robbers. He's referring to the scribes and the pharisees. They were leading people astray because they were only concerned about staying in power and being popular.”

#GuardWhoYouListenTo
“You can listen to false teachings or teachers in and out of the church. They're bad pastors, theologians, philosophers, politicians. They're bad professors, and anybody who has a platform, a blogger, our YouTube video platform spewing false theology, trying to destroy people's faith. So we must be careful whom we listen to. Like, they were listening to the Pharisees and many false teachers that were telling them lies. And they were even using the word of God to prove their life.”

#BewareFalseChrists
“Jesus, when he was sitting on the Mount Of Olives, his disciples wanted to know when he would return, when when the temple would be turned torn down. What are the signs of the age? And Jesus said to them, see that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name saying, I am the Christ, and they will lead many astray. That's what Jesus warned, that there will come come a time when people will say, I am the Christ. And Jesus says, as it gets closer to his return, there'll be spiritual leaders saying they're they're the Christ, and some of them will use the Bible to deceive you.”

#SpiritualWarfare
“If an angel preaches a different gospel other than that the disciples taught, it's really not an angel. What does the fallen angel called? Said it, deceiving spirits, doctrines of demons. Paul wrote in second Corinthians 11, even Satan disguised himself as an angel of light. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. This is a spiritual war that we have going on. It's not a political war. You know, Islam is a political ideology that has a religion in it, and we're fighting we're fighting, a spiritual war against the spiritual forces of evil.”

#ListenToTheShepherd
“In the scripture, when Jesus begins with the words truly, truly, he's saying, what I'm saying to you right now, you better listen up because it has eternal purposes. So that that's his, listen up. And the characters in this what we just read, the scripture are the thieves and the robbers of the Pharisees and the Jewish leaders. The shepherd is Jesus, and the sheep are the Jews whom the shepherds were shepherding. Imagine a setting. You got this beautiful green pasture, and there's sheep in the pasture, and they're grazing. And during the summer months, the shepherd would spend the day or spend the night with the sheep in the pasture, and they had these small rock enclosures that were three walled with the with where the shepherd would lay across the door of it. And the shepherd would literally sleep at the door to protect the sheep. Sometimes they would put, thorns on top of the walls to keep predators out. But inside the closure, the the sheep were safe as long as the entrance was secure So the sheep could rest in peace because they knew that the shepherd was there at the doorway. That's a cool picture.”

#WatchForApostasy
“Recently, I've been studying this word apostasy, and I don't know if you've heard that word apostasy. It's it comes from the Greek word apostasia, meaning to stand away from or to abandon one's faith. And most of the time, we think of apostasy as a person leaving the faith. Well, we'll talk about that in a minute. But a lost person is a person who never had faith in Jesus. They're lost. But an apostate person is someone who had faith in Jesus, no longer believes in them. And it's not only about individuals, it's about whole denominations. And whole denomination could be apostate denomination and leave the true teachings of the Bible. And we see this in Thessalonica where the the whole church, they were breaking down their morals and their beliefs. And we see that in churches today that split because we have people in the church that say, no, we can't go that way.”

#HoldToScripture
“Deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons will be taught, Paul's saying. Now hold on to that. I'm gonna come back to that in a moment. Alright? That's an important sentence that that Paul writes. There are seminary professors that teach that God's word is not God's word. It only contains God's word. There's, you know, God's words in that book, but it's not God's word. they'll even say things that, you know, that this book has scientific errors, really, and that it has historical errors, and that maybe the events like the virgin birth and the bodily resurrection of Jesus is really metaphorical. Didn't really happen. And and each year, they keep tearing it down and down and down. They care less or more about what it says as long as they get the approval of the world. I don't know if you know this, but in Canada, you can be arrested for preaching certain truths out of this book, and pastors have been arrested for preaching certain truths out of this book.”

#OneTrueGospel
“After Paul wrote this six hundred and ten years later, Muhammad went into a cave and said he talked to an angel near Mecca who gave him a different gospel than the ones the apostles taught, than the ones that that Jesus taught. And we got Islam from that. In America, there was a man by the name of Joseph Smith who also talked said he talked to an angel and gave him a different gospel. That's where we get Mormonism, Latter day Saints.”

#WatchForFalseProphets
“Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 24, if anyone says to you to you, behold, here's the Christ, so there he is. Do not believe him. False Christ and false prophets will arise and will show signs, great signs and wonders to mislead possibly the elect. Behold, I have told you in advance. Islam believes that when there Christ comes, he's called the mighty. He will do great signs and wonders. Sounds like what Paul Jesus is saying in Matthew 24.”
