#HearHisVoiceNotNoise
“Following too many small shepherds, social media is loud. News media, loud. Culture, loud. Everyone's opinion, loud. But what's more important? Knowing what everyone else is saying and thinking and the podcast and the this and the the the even the good things. That's all good. But is it more important to hear what everyone else has to say or more important to know what the good shepherd is saying?”

#GoodShepherdOnlyWay
“So when Jesus stood before the people in John 10 and he says, I am the good shepherd, he wasn't simply using some comforting metaphor, some children's book photo of Jesus, you know, sitting crisscross applesauce with a lamb. No. No. No. Was literally claiming and declaring he is the good shepherd that he promised would come. He is the one sent by God the father that he would come and he would rescue the sheep, that he is the only way. There is no other way but through Jesus, the good shepherd.”

#WanderingIsDanger
“Because the greatest danger for sheep is not the wolf or the enemy. It is the wandering away from the shepherd. Sometimes in church, get a little spooked out. Oh, the enemy's after me. He's coming after me. There's somebody there's an enemy in the bush over there. Let's cast it out. That guy's got a demon. Like, we we're so hyper folk fixated on the enemy, giving the enemy way too much credit, giving him way too much ground.”

#FollowDontJustAdmire
“We think that we have, and I'm not saying that you haven't been saved. Maybe you've been maybe you have been saved for fifty two years. Saved, sanctified, redeemed, but I'm talking about following the good shepherd. I'm talking about not just saying, oh, I admire that guy. I love when the pastor preaches about the the God, the Messiah. Love him. Admire him. Respect him. Gave him my life. I'm I'm going to heaven. No. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about following the good shepherd.”

#KnowJesusNotAI
“Now these aren't simply just descriptions of who Jesus is. No. These are declarations of his deity. Jesus is revealing who he truly is and fulfilling the promises and the prophecies of the Old Testament that he would come to gather, guide, and protect his sheep. So we have to pay attention to who he says that he is. Otherwise, we create our own version of him as pastor Dave talked about a few weeks ago, our AI version of Jesus.”

#NoFearWhenYouFollow
“And I want you you could write this down today. I want you to hear this. We don't have to fear when we follow the good shepherd. I really sense this for us today. There's a lot of people living in high levels of fear, high levels of fear. And the word of the Lord for you today is if you are following the good shepherd, you're following his voice, you're following his leading, that you do not have to fear.”

#GodNotGivenSpiritOfFear
“And we all have times when fear is present in our life at any moment. Our employ employment could change. A a diagnosis could come. A relationship could change. You step into your new season of life. You're confused, or we walk in the spirit of fear. Some of us just carry a spirit of fear. But I wanna tell you today that God has not given us a spirit of fear, and he wants you to hear his voice today.”
24s
#DiscernHisInnerVoice
“And I know that there are many in the room, and you you haven't heard his voice. And I'm not talking about the audible like, my son, my daughter, let's go left. Not talking about the audible voice of God. I'm talking about the nearness of his presence. Some even say that his voice is our inner voice speaking to us, but we can discern what is him and what is our own voice.”
27s
#ShepherdsPresenceBringsPeace
“And so sometimes you get that sense like, oh, he is here. He's with me. The good shepherd is near me and Jesus wants that for you today. And I'm not saying all this to try to create some more fear and saying this to state the obvious that life gives us plenty of opportunities to have fear, but we don't have to have fear when we follow the good shepherd.”
24s
#ShepherdsVoiceBringsSafety
“But there was all these other sounds and distractions. They were scared out of their mind full of fear. But when they heard their shepherd's voice, they trusted their shepherd. He had guided them and protected them and brought them to water and took care of them and they knew him. So when he showed up, all he had to do was let his voice be heard and the sheep felt safety and protection.”

#SilenceNoiseReadTheWord
“It's interesting that sheep can recognize the unique voice of their shepherd even if there's all these other voices around. And so the voice of the shepherd brings peace. The voice of all the noise that's going on, it actually makes money off of your fear. It profits off of your fear and anxiety. So we have to silence the competing voices. And number two, read the word and declare it out loud.”
31s
#FearLosesPowerWhenHeSpeaks
“Fear loses its authority when the shepherd speaks. Just hearing his voice causes fear to go. Just being in the presence of the good shepherd, it just creates this, everything's gonna be okay. Even as I was prepping this message, and I know this is kinda my story every time I preach, but I was sitting there going, Lord, I'm supposed to tell them how to hear your voice, and I'm pretty sure I can't hear you right now.”
26s
#DavidsTestimonyOfTheShepherd
“David is literally showing and depicting. He's almost giving us his testimony as he starts out and he says, this is who God is. This is what he's done. And then he begins to say, but you, oh lord, you are the one that was with me in the valley. You, oh lord, are my protector. He begins to declare the goodness and the faithfulness of the good shepherd, that he is a provider, that he leads,”
41s
#UnderShepherdsCovering
“And if you've been battling fear and maybe we even say, have not been following the good shepherd. I have not stayed under his protection. I've gone out on my own. I've tried to walk in my own wisdom. I believe today as we just worship with just a just a song and a half, we're just gonna take a moment here and I believe that fear has to go. Anxiety has to be silenced when we come underneath the shepherd's covering today because it's who he is.”
36s
#SpeakWhoGodIsInviteSpirit
“I believe therefore I speak and some of you need to begin to declare in your life who God says that he is, to not get stuck in the same routine of of mulling over the fear and getting caught up in the stresses of life. But we need to come under the good shepherd today. And I believe even as we worship for just a moment, just right now, if you would just take a deep breath and just ask for the Holy Spirit to come.”
28s
#RodAndStaffProtectGuide
“when David says, your rod and your staff, they comfort me. The rod and the staff isn't a a brush. We're not brushing the hair of the sheep. We're not petting him. No. No. The rod and the staff, it's like a tool. It's like a little baton. And and the shepherd would fight off the wolves and anything that would come in the way and then the staff as you've seen in the the Jesus movies or if you're a shepherd and you got one of those, I should have brought one out, I forgot about it.”
31s
#LeavingTheShepherdLeadsToValleys
“and become our own shepherd and we come outside of the covering of the good shepherd And we start we end up in dark valleys. We end up in dead corners, the dead ends of life where we go, how did how did I get here? What? Oh, the Lord has brought me to a dark place and he's just gonna leave me. No. You brought yourself there because you didn't follow the good shepherd. We become vulnerable to the enemy and the schemes of the enemy”
28s
#StopBeingYourOwnShepherd
“We we try to become our own shepherd. We try to use our own wisdom, making our own plans. I'm gonna date this person. Oh, I'm gonna marry that one, move to whatever city I feel like it on that day. Oh, quit this job. Say this thing to my family I've been wanting to say. We start to just live our own ways and become our own shepherd and we come outside of the covering of the good shepherd”
31s
#ShepherdIsWithYouNoFear
“Not just some evil, not just some things. I will fear no evil. Why? Because the shepherd is with him. And today, the shepherd is with us. The shepherd is with you. And when there's fear of the enemy, fear of the future, fear of insignificance, fear of confusion, fear of abandonment today, fear of a lack of security, maybe you're stepping into a new season of life and you just feel like, I don't know what's gonna happen.”
32s
#DontAssumeYoureFollowing
“It's all driven out by the good shepherd. But listen, in a lot of believers lives, mine included, we can get to a point where we stop following the good shepherd. You're like, oh, not me. I've been serving Jesus for fifty two years. I'm a step at a time. We've been in sync. You haven't, and I I can testify. We think that we have,”
