Similarly, Christ invites us to dethrone ourselves, making Him the gravitational center of our decisions, relationships, and purpose. This shift transforms how we measure success: not by comfort or applause, but by alignment with His kingdom. Peace comes not from controlling life’s rotations, but orbiting the One who holds all things together. [50:14]

If you're familiar with scripture, later on in the New Testament, the scripture teaches us that we long to hear Jesus say, well done, good and faithful servant. Servant. We get to live in this upside down kingdom, the good life of loving others even when they're hurting, of being kind to people even when they're unkind. He says, great is your reward. I read an article this week from a scholar, and he talked about a broken relationship and how he had to go in and offer forgiveness. And then the crazy thing is he said he walked away, and two hours later, all of the feelings of shame and bitterness came back.
