“``The cross forever settled the question, is God good? He was so good, God the father sent God the son to die for our places that yet while we were broke, busted and disgusted, full of sin and and and worthy of hell Right. even in his goodness, and even in our wretchedness, and sin, and shame, he demonstrated his own love towards us, that even yet while we were still a mess, Jesus died for us. That's what he's saying there. Yeah. Because God is good, God gave us his son so sinful people could become sons and daughters.”

“God is good when life hurts. God is good when prayers seem delayed. God is good when we understand. God is good when we don't. Right. You gotta get this. God's goodness is not based on our circumstances. His goodness is based on his character. God is good because that is the nature of God. And God can't be anything else but good because he's good. Right. That's that's that's his essence. That's his nature. That's his divine attributes is God is good. And God never changes. I'm thankful everything else changes, but God does not change. God is good. That is who he is.”

“Some of you under the sound of my voice today, you walked in carrying burdens. You walked in today carrying questions and heartache and disappointment. And maybe you've asked, where is God in all of this? I need to remind you today, the same God who parted the Red Sea is still good. Amen. The same God who shut the mouth of the lion is still good. The same God who raised Lazarus from the dead is still good. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead Get on, James. Come on. Is still good. The same God who carried you this far Thanks, Paul. Is still good, and he always will be.”

“We don't understand. We we don't we don't always understand, and we're not always gonna give the explanation. Now, honestly, do I really care? Yeah. No. I don't care. I mean, kinda. I mean, I'd kinda like to go up to heaven and see. I just like to pull up his shirt a little bit and go, I knew it. I knew it. And he'd go I know some million times. but you know what I'm saying? There's there's actually there's things that we have questions about that we're just not gonna get answers to. And there's some things we're just gonna have to learn to be okay with of not knowing. Listen, you can't Google every life's issues and figure out the answer to it. There's some things we're just gonna have to trust God about and and but oftentimes, we want explanations, but God often gives himself instead.”
