“``He had the best health care money could buy, but you'll be shocked to what what killed him. He died from malnutrition. He died thin, dehydrated. Despite of all his money and all of his power, he died and from malnutrition. Howard Hughes was so eccentric that psychologically he refused all food and water because he afraid it would kill him. He was so obsessed about absolutely purity and food and water, he would no longer eat or drink. But he forgot one simple fact, when you don't eat, you don't live. And the same thing about your spiritual life, you can't make it without food, the food for the spiritual life. You can't make it without the word of God. Howard Hughes died from malnutrition from food, and we die every day from the lack of the word of God.”

“Pilate wanted to know what is truth and children of God, we live in a world today that we hear so many lies. We hear so much mess and we believe it because we don't know the truth. We're reason like Pilate what is true. But Jesus answered, he said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. If you know God's word, if you're following God's word, you will follow the truth and you will know know what is true. Jesus declared to God the father, your word is truth. God's word is truth, but we all understand and know what truth is unless we read the word. Today, truth has become words twisted by slogans and softened by opinions. Somebody's opinion will become the truth to you if you don't know God's word.”

“Moses tells the Israelites, God's words are not just idle words for you. He said, they are your life. Go back and read that. Moses tell the Israelites, the words I'm giving you are not idle words. They are your life. And children of God, God's words is your life. by them. Moses are telling Israelites, you will need God's word to survive. They are not idle. God's words, children of God, is not idle. Why is it so difficult, and why is it so hard for us to spend time, just a little time with God?”

“You just don't read the bible with your eyes, you also read the bible with your heart. Don't just read the Bible with your eyes, read it with your heart. Let God work in your heart. Let God deliver you from bitterness and envy and hypocrisy and jealousy and slander, of those kinds of things. You can only change through the word of God. So I stopped by this morning just encourage to read your bible. You can only change through the word of God. As you talk to God in prayer, he talks to you through the word when you read the bible.”
