#GiftOfGraceAndGrowth
“And how is that possible? Someone loves you. What do they they do for you? Well, they may give you gifts. God has certainly given us the gift of holy of the Holy Spirit to trust and to know that Jesus Christ came and died for you, takes away your sins, and that he rose for you. Spiritual growth. It's it seems miraculous, doesn't it? It is miraculous, but it's the way that God made it. And he's going to keep growing you. The path of spiritual growth is an upward spiral. It is a continuous progression towards one goal. There is one telus, one end to your faith. And what is that? Meeting Christ face to face. As Job said, to see your creator with your very own eyes. That on the last day, you will experience the resurrection and receive your body perfected, glorified, never more to fail, falter, or die.”

#BecomingChristlike
“It's about a relationship. How do you grow in Christ likeness? Well, you naturally the more you are around that person. Think about it. When you're with a friend who has certain mannerisms, sometimes you notice that you'll pick those up. Or maybe with family members, when you get back together with them, you just fall back into the those same patterns of communication phrases and maybe even dialect or a certain phrases come back to you. But that's the exact way it works with Christ. The more you know of Christ and the more you sit with him, the more like Christ you become. It's only natural that you would take on compassion, care, grace, and concern, and that's exactly what the apostle Paul says in our second reading.”

#AdoptedInChrist
“Becoming more like Christ every day through adoption. Through adoption, our nature is is one of of grace compared to to Christ who is Jesus. Jesus is God by nature. The second person of the Trinity, the son of God. And he allows us to partake in that divine nature, to experience that grace through his word. That's why it's called the means of grace. God's word, baptism, communion, those are ways that you get to hear from your creator. To experience on your lips the grace of God. To receive the washing of rebirth and renewal. The thing that we go to every day to remind us that yes, you are a child of God. So do your Christian friends, don't look for signs because our heart is deceitful. Yes. Ask God. Come to your heavenly father and say, God, what would you have me do? And allow him to work out those paths for you.”

It's in your it's in his word that you hear the peace which surpasses all understanding, the love of God, full and free forgiveness. And how is that possible? Someone loves you. What do they they do for you? Well, they may give you gifts. God has certainly given us the gift of holy of the Holy Spirit to trust and to know that Jesus Christ came and died for you, takes away your sins, and that he rose for you.”
