“``A bad builder can hide a lot of problems. A little bit of paint, a little bit of drywall, a little bit of trim, that kind of stuff. You can hide some actual real problems that you've got going on in your work. But eventually, the pipes are gonna break. Eventually, the breakers are gonna trip. Eventually, the doors aren't gonna shut. And if you build it badly, you're not gonna pass the inspection. But that's what Proverbs is looking to. Proverbs is saying, hey, there's an inspection coming. There's gonna come a day when we're gonna stand in front of god, every man, woman, and child. Each of us is gonna stand in front of god, and we're gonna give an account for the lives that we've lived.”

“Then he starts to rebuild. Then he starts to fix it according to the blueprint. This is what we call sanctification. And the best news about sanctification, the best news about god coming to work in your life, one of the promises is that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. need that. As a pastor, I need that because I am so prone to go to go away, to go on my own path, to build my own way. And I'm in constant need of new grace from God. God is so faithful to give it. He's just constantly working on me. Hey. I promised you. When you first started, I promised you that we would finish this, and that's what I'm gonna do. He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.”

“It looks fun and it looks pleasurable, but you don't know that it's a trap. And you're gonna go there to die. Her paths are to the departed. None who go to her come back, nor do they regain the paths of life. All of us have built off blueprint in some kind of way, haven't we? You you agree? Do we all agree with that, that none of us have lived a perfect life? That all of us have built places and that we shouldn't, and we've suffered for it. Some of you some of us, all of us are still suffering from some of the decisions that we've made. For instance, just think about this. How great would it be? How great would it be if you had never looked at pornography even once? How much different would your life be right now? You wouldn't be dominated like you are. You would have some actual freedom.”

“And the final build is marvelous. Can you envision the final build? Can you envision what that house is gonna look like when it's done? We are being taken. We're whole living stones, it says, and we're being built up brick by brick into a house for god. That last build, that final build is a marvelous build Because it's built out of righteousness and truth and justice and equity and all the things that we love about this world and hate that we don't have. We no longer have to hate that because it's all true now. It's actually this is the way things are. God's kingdom is a kingdom where we can live in righteousness.”
