#BiblePointsToJesus
“You see, the entire road leads to Jesus, and the Bible is not just a book. It's not a book about how good people become better. It's the story of a holy God rescuing us because we can't rescue ourselves. You know, at some point, sin took each and every one of us off of God's path, and we've all chosen our own way at some point. But see, Jesus came for us. He lived a life we couldn't live, died the death that we deserved, and rose again so that we could be forgiven and made new. And you don't just earn that gift, you receive it. You receive it by turning and placing your trust in Jesus.”

#ApplyTheWord
“The Bible is everywhere in our culture. It's everywhere. got printed Bibles, got study Bibles, got kids Bibles, we got comic book Bibles, we got audio Bibles, we got Bible apps, and probably more translations than any of us could ever recount. The problem is not that we can't get the Bible. The problem is that many of us have access to God's word without allowing it to shape our lives. You know, see, think about that. A bible can sit on a nightstand and never change a marriage. can sit in the dashboard of a car and never change the person driving. It could be downloaded onto your phone and never downloaded into your heart. You see, owning a map is not the same as following it.”

#ReadStudyLive
“We can't just carry the map. We have to allow the map to carry us to Jesus, The big idea is that the Bible isn't just a book. It is the road map to life. God gave it, he preserved it, and his spirit helps us understand it. Now it is our responsibility. We have some responsibility here. It's our responsibility to read it, study it, and live it. You can't just leave the map sitting on the shelf. Open it, trust it, and take the next faithful step.”

#WisdomInAction
“We do not grow wise simply as we grow older. We grow wise when our experiences are evaluated under the truth of God. That's how we begin to grow. Why? Some people live year over year over year for the next fifty years the same. They repeat the same patterns. They blame the same people. And they refuse to learn. Biblical wisdom is is different. It listens to god. It it receives the correction. Then it puts that truth into practice. So wisdom is not just knowing what the bible says. Wisdom is knowing what God says and then doing it. That's wisdom.”
