Day 1: God’s Promises Are Freely Given by His Grace

God’s promises are not earned by our good works or disqualified by our failures; they are given because of God’s own glory and excellence. No matter your past or present, God’s love and purpose for you remain unchanged, and His promises are available to all who come to Him. You don’t have to be perfect or have it all together—His promises are a gift, not a reward, and nothing you’ve done can separate you from what He wants to do in your life. [58:13]

"His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire."

Day 2: God’s System of Salvation and Redemption

From the beginning, God has operated through a system of salvation—He made a way for us to be restored through Jesus, who became our substitute and paid the price for our sins. This system is not about religious rituals or human effort, but about God’s plan to bring us back into relationship with Him, offering us forgiveness, new life, and purpose through Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection. Your background, failures, or limitations do not disqualify you—God wants to use your story, your scars, and your gifts to impact others and fulfill His plans through you. [01:01:16]

God’s promises to His people are clear: He will bring you out (salvation), free you (freedom from bondage), redeem you (restore your purpose), and make you part of His people (fulfillment in community and mission). This journey is not about perfection but about taking steps of faith, trusting that as you seek God’s promises, He will do more in and through you than you could ever imagine. [01:11:40]

Because of the faithful giving of this house, we’ve been able to serve tens of thousands in our city, providing food, household goods, and hope, all without relying on government support. We explored 2 Peter 1:3-4, where God’s “great and precious promises” are given not because of our merit, but because of His glory and excellence. Too often, we settle for a life that is less than what God intended, living by systems imposed on us by culture, comparison, or our own brokenness. “Creation was a system. God, a spirit spoke and physical things started to come. It was crazy because you're talking about light that affects plants. You're talking about animals that are fed by the plants. There's a system in the way that everything works. Do you know that the gospel salvation, the thing that me and you have in common today? A room filled with diverse people. Some white, some black, some Hispanic, some Indian, some Iranian, some from all different cultures in all different countries, but yet we're all in the same room because of a a system.”

“But God in that moment didn't excommunicate them and kill them. He incorporated a system. Why? Because he promised them on the day that you eat from the the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. On that day you shall die. But God instead of giving them judgment, he gave them grace. So what he did was this. Adam and Eve were hiding and they had fig trees on them. And so they come to God or God comes to them and they have this conversation and they're like, "We're naked and we were afraid."”

“He told them, "Who who told you that you were naked?" They were trying to cover their sins with fig leaves. But what God did was that he grabbed scripture says that he clothed them in animal skin. What does this mean? This means that there was a substitution because without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. Without a substitute, somebody had to die. And that animal in that moment became the substitute so that God doesn't crush them, but instituted a plan.”

“He said, "I'm going to bring you a seed." That seed's name was Jesus. And he would bruise the serpent's head. He took the keys from death, hell, and the grave. But it was a system. It was him stepping out of eternity, clothing himself. And the Bible says in first Philip, Phil Philippians chapter 1, it says that he stripped himself of divinity and he became just like you. The book of Hebrew teaches us that Jesus lived and experienced the same temptations that you did, yet without sin.”

“But to be able to hand us the keys to the kingdom so that now we can go out to make disciples. He leaves this earth and he tells the disciples, "Hey, I'mma holl at y'all boys." No, no, no. He tells them, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." See, there were marching orders. It's a system, y'all. God has always operated in a system. And if you can understand that system, then you can operate in it.”

“Great and precious promises. I want you to understand that they come because of his glory and his excellence. Meaning, you haven't done anything to earn these things. He gives it to you freely because he loves you. But then I also want you to understand that you haven't done anything that will separate you or keep you from these promises. They have everything to do with God. That should free you because you're not too good Christian with your teeth straight in your mouth and your nice little Sunday clothes.”

“You haven't done anything to earn God's promises. He gives it to you because of his glory and his excellence. But here it is non-Christian that doesn't know Jesus is trying to figure this thing out. Why is this black Cuban screaming at me right now? It's way too early in the morning. You haven't done anything to block God's promises from your life either. Why? Because he loves you. Because he has a purpose and he has a plan for you.”

“Your life was not meant to just live a normal natural life, man. You were meant to do so much more. You were not meant to have just a regular run-of-the-mill life. And let me explain something to you. Your past, how much money you have, your knowhow, your intellect, it doesn't discredit you from living a huge life. Why do I say that? Because today I can preach the gospel. And listen to me. I got a microphone. You're watching online. We're grateful for you.”

“You weren't called to live just a mediocre life. There's so much more inside of you. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says that eternity has been stored up in your heart. You remember that? Remember Jeremiah chapter 1 vers5, before I formed you in your mother's womb, I knew you. I had a purpose and a plan for you. I separated you and I called you a prophet to the nations. You are to encourage, edify, and comfort the nations. Think about how much God put inside of you.”

“And it's crazy because if you truly understand what God put inside of you, you would be so excited. Why? Not because you need somebody to motivate you, but because you're a part of God's divine nature. And now you're starting to operate in something completely different that doesn't have anything to do with how much money you owe Mastercard. Your debt, your lack of a college degree, it doesn't separate you from these plans. No, no, no. In fact, God still wants to use you.”

“Your story doesn't disqualify you from God's purpose. In fact, it gives you a head up because now you can speak to people that have been broken in the same place that you have. Your scars begin to tell a story of people that have a wound in the same area and you can tell them, "I healed from it. Look at my life. God changed it." And that is what it means to live in God's divine nature.”

“But the moment that you hear that word, all right, when are we collecting the offering again? So, what's the pastor going to ask me? What do I need to do? Here we go. He's getting he's building it up. He got me all excited. And what we tend to think is because of the word promise, we tend to cloud that with the mistake, the hurt, the pain, the manipulation that somebody else may have introduced when they promised you, I would never leave you.”

“God can't break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable. God doesn't need your approval. God doesn't need your yes. God doesn't need your acceptance. God does things because he's grown the way he wants to do it when he wants to do it as he wants to do it. And the only person that he answers to is himself. So meaning that the authority in which God says, "I promise you is his own. I don't need nobody else to back me up. I have enough."”

“If you allow for me to help you to know the promises, I'm just going to explain them to you so that you can understand them. But if you pursue them, 2026 will be unlike any year that you ever had. I can promise you this. Why? Because my life has been completely changed because of these promises. So what are these promises? Let's go to Exodus 6 and 7. As we close the service today, Exodus 6 and 7.”

“But then when you get Egypt out of you, what happens next is that you're redeemed. I will redeem you. And this is where we we we call in church. This is where understanding your purpose. Redeem you. You had a purpose already. And now life has thwarted it, clouded it, and you don't even really know where you are. You're living a system, a tailor made life that you don't even know where you are, how you are, but you get up every morning and you it's the same routine, but there's so much purpose inside of you.”

“Our vision at this church has been to know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference. If we see people on that continuum, we're doing a good job. If we see people following that trajectory, if you've been church long enough, then you know these words: salvation, sanctification, redemption, and fulfillment. It's always been the system that God has used all throughout time. He wants you to have a relationship with him. He wants to begin to change you from the inside out.”
