The disciples gripped oars as waves crashed over their fishing boat. Jesus slept on a cushion in the stern. Panic rose as water flooded the deck. They shook Him awake, shouting, “Don’t You care if we drown?” Jesus stood, rebuked the wind, and silenced the sea. The men marveled at His authority over chaos. [01:21:12]
Jesus didn’t calm their fears first—He calmed the storm. His power over nature revealed His heart to rescue. The disciples learned storms bow to His voice, but their trust needed strengthening.
When chaos threatens to swamp your life, name the storm. Speak Jesus’ authority over it. Where have you accused Him of sleeping through your crisis?
“He woke up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace! Be still!’ Then the wind ceased, and there was a dead calm.”
(Mark 4:39, ESV)
Prayer: Ask Jesus to reveal His active presence in your storm.
Challenge: Write down one fear shouting louder than His voice. Destroy the paper after praying over it.
Worshipers lifted hands, voices raw from declaring Christ’s worth. The room vibrated with “Hallelujah!” as the Holy Spirit swept through chairs and hearts. Chains snapped—addictions, shame, despair crumbling under the weight of His name. [01:07:45]
Jesus inhabits praise. When we exalt Him, atmospheres shift. The woman at the well left her jar to proclaim Messiah. Zacchaeus surrendered wealth after hosting Joy Himself. Authentic worship dismantles strongholds.
Turn up the volume of your adoration today. Sing aloud in your car. Whisper His name over your anxiety. What dead thing still silences your praise?
“Yet You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.”
(Psalm 22:3, ESV)
Prayer: Thank Jesus for three specific victories His worthiness has secured.
Challenge: Set a phone alarm for 3 PM—declare “Worthy!” aloud wherever you are.
Robbie stood, hands trembling, as the church stretched palms toward her. Tears fell as they sowed her into new ground. Promises whispered in secret—grandchildren, healing, purpose—would bloom in Bundaberg’s soil. [01:41:45]
God uproots to replant. Abraham left Ur. Ruth followed Naomi. Jesus sends workers into ripe fields. Obedience in transition proves His faithfulness, not our stability.
What harvest is He preparing through your current upheaval? Identify one root of resistance to His replanting.
“Go from your country…to the land that I will show you.”
(Genesis 12:1, ESV)
Prayer: Confess any fear holding you from embracing new assignments.
Challenge: Text encouragement to someone navigating a major life change.
A man stumbled forward, cigarette pack crumpled in his fist. Women wept as pastors prayed over pornographic strongholds. “Free!” echoed off walls as knees hit carpet. [01:25:32]
Jesus broke chains at Gadara, Zarephath, and Calvary. Freedom isn’t a process—it’s a Person. The demoniac sat clothed at Christ’s feet. Rahab’s scarlet cord became salvation’s banner.
Name your shackle aloud. Command it to bow to His blood-bought authority. What false identity still clings to your ankles?
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
(John 8:36, ESV)
Prayer: Rebuke one lie Satan repeats about your identity.
Challenge: Throw away one item symbolizing bondage (liquor, pills, compromising media).
The offering basket passed Robbie as she grinned through tears. Seeds sown in her would yield souls, healings, and generational blessings. She’d water others with the joy she’d carried at Oasis. [01:40:32]
God multiplies surrendered seeds. The boy’s loaves fed thousands. Peter’s net burst with fish after empty toil. Our release activates heaven’s math.
Where have you withheld seed, fearing scarcity? Plant generously—He determines the yield.
“Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”
(2 Corinthians 9:6, ESV)
Prayer: Surrender one resource (time, money, skill) for Kingdom sowing.
Challenge: Give $20 anonymously to someone’s practical need today.
The name of Jesus takes the center. “There is no other name,” and that name draws out a shout, a lifted hand, a room full of praise. The presence of God answers the church with weight and warmth, and in that weightiness the heart gets a reset. In his presence, the heaviness of the week fades, the noise turns down, and faith rises.
The Spirit moves as a person, not a feeling. The Spirit sweeps the room, meets people where they are, and invites a simple prayer: “Holy Spirit, have your way.” The Spirit is not in a hurry and not stingy. He visits, he lingers, he frees.
The story in the boat names the pattern. The storm gets loud, fear multiplies, and voices start saying, “We’re going to die.” Panic becomes a chorus. But Jesus is in the boat. The answer is already present. The call is to go to Jesus, not to let the storm set the soundtrack. The command is clear: speak to the noise. Jesus did not come so that people would die; he came that they might live. Life answers fear. His presence quiets the wind inside before it stills the wind outside.
The altar becomes a place of honesty and a runway for freedom. Addictions and secret battles lose their grip when dragged into the light under his name. The name of Jesus does what it carries: Savior, Healer, Comforter. Freedom is not a theory; it is an event that happens in real time when Jesus is exalted and the Spirit moves. Hands stretch out. Heaven answers. People get set free.
Kingdom life also looks like sending. A daughter of the house, Robbie, is not lost; she is sown. Sowing expects harvest. Hidden prayers receive public answers. The move is not just geographical; it is vocational. Calling travels. Joy travels. The same grace that lifted hearts here will make room there. Release is not abandonment; it is blessing that breaks ground in new soil.
A simple pattern holds the whole: exalt Jesus, welcome the Spirit, go to Jesus in the storm, bring what binds into the light, and sow people into their call. A moment in his presence changes everything. He is worthy, worthy, worthy, and his name gets all the glory.
He's the very reason that you and I are here today. He's our savior. He's our healer. He's our comforter. He's everything to us. Church, it is amazing to be in the presence of God. I love that as we come together, you know, the word tells us that we're two or three gathered in his name. There he is. And you can feel the presence of God in this place. And I know that God has spoken to you today. I know that he has spoken to you deep into your heart.

Yeah. There's things in your heart that you've even thought about that nobody. I'm literally feeling this right now. Holy Spirit is putting it. And so that you know that God is going before you, you're going the things that you prayed for and believe for the answers are coming. Yeah. I sense it. You're going to receive the answer, and that way you know that God has gone before you. Thank you, Lord. And I even feel there's been moments where you've gone, is this the right move? But I wanna tell you, God says it's the right move. Yes. Thank you, Jesus. I am leading you.

We just gotta go to Jesus. And I was thinking about that because the disciples were there. They're freaking out going, we're gonna die. We're gonna die. You could imagine like this. Could you imagine? So we're here, we're going Rachel and start going, we're gonna die. We're gonna die. We're gonna die. We're gonna next minute, we're going, Joel, we're gonna die. We're gonna we're all we're gonna die. We're gonna then all of a sudden, everybody's hyping everybody up that we're going to die. We're going to die. We're going to die. But right in the very presence of all them was the answer. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And today, I really feel that God is wanting you to pull up the noise

Is this something about the name of Jesus, church, that when you get in his presence, it's like everything else just seems to fade away. The weight of this world, things that are there that just seem to fade away. I was thinking just as we're worshiping then, I was just I was reminded of, you know, when they were in the boat, the disciples and they're crossing to the other side and and Jesus is up the front of the boat and he's laying there asleep. Have you ever had those moments where you feel like you just need an answer,
