47s
“``Having the right blood isn't the answer. Don't say to the immigrants who wanna worship Yahweh, who wanna worship me and who keep covenant with me and who keep the Sabbath and who in their life do what I've asked you to do. Don't tell them they can't be part of this assembly. They are more special to me than those supposed sons and daughters of Abraham. That's the prophetic word that God brings to bear on the people of Israel.”
63s
“And so went the church. The early Christian community was this conglomeration of Jews and Gentiles, of men and women, of slaves and free. Your social status, your gender, anything about your sexuality given this eunuchs thing, and your ethnicity should not separate you from one another because it does not separate you from God, Because all are one in Christ, Paul says in the book of Galatians.”
41s
“And if we say we wanna be a Christian nation, going by the bloodlines or something like that, that's not what our scriptures teach us. Our scripture is like, it's not about that blood and soil. It's not about you being a child of Abraham because these people that you would exclude, I've brought them in. And when they keep covenant with me, they are my special possession.”
79s
“But the reality according to Revelation chapter seven that we read as our call to worship today. That around the throne of God are gonna be people from every tribe and nation and people and language because the people of God multicultural. I didn't make that up. That's our scriptures. I should call this little series that don't shoot me, I'm the messenger series because seriously, I'm just reading the text and this is what the text seem to be saying to us. So let's listen and allow them to work their transformative on our hearts and on our practice.”
