#SalvationByGrace
“``The reason that you will be a member of the family of God has nothing to do with your skill set. Nothing to do with what you've done here on Sunday morning. Nothing to do with what you've done in your life. It's because of Jesus Christ and what he has done for you. You don't earn it. You don't win it. You receive it. That's a beautiful truth to think about. It's available to all. It doesn't matter your lineage, your heritage, your anything about you. It's because of God's goodness and grace that he gives salvation to all who will receive it. Our Lord and savior Jesus Christ died on the cross for those who would receive him. Right? Anybody.”

#RighteousInChrist
“You are made right before God because of Christ and what he's done. You are justified before God. You are made whole, perfect, not because of you, but because of Christ. Because when you take when you receive Christ, when you trust in Christ, you he God puts Christ's righteousness upon you. When he sees you, he doesn't see you in your mess. He sees Christ. He sees his righteousness. Now can it get any more righteous than Jesus? I mean, Jesus is righteousness personified, And that is the gift that we are offered. That is the hope that we have as followers of Jesus Christ. We can rest in that.”

#JesusPaidItAll
“When you look at your own life and imagine if you were to stand before God without Christ, what what how much hope would you have in that moment? If everything that you've ever done, all the all the sin that you've ever done is laid before God, and you're gonna try and stand for God and say, God, I I deserve and God says, what should I do to let what what should I do to let you into my my kingdom and my heaven? What what what do you think? You got a chance? And you start listing all the things that we've done, you know, the little good things, and then he starts having this long list of everything we've done wrong. And we're like, man, I don't I don't have a chance. But if you're a Christian, Jesus has already paid for the list of all that you've done wrong. He's already suffered and and he's he's changed the balance sheet and made you right before God. He has been that substitute for God's wrath. He took God's wrath in your and my place. And because of that, we know what mercy is.”

#VictoryThroughChrist
“Victory over sin and death is accomplished through Christ's death on the cross. As you've heard me say and others as well for time again and again, that's why when Jesus says it is finished, he's not just talking about the end of his earthly life. He has fulfilled everything that was necessary, fulfilled all righteousness as Paul says in another text. He has made it possible for us to be adopted into the family of God, to become children of God. That gift of salvation comes through his sacrifice, and Paul was wanting them to understand that that the it's the gift that comes. And he says that he uses the term gift frequently in this text because salvation is a gift.”
