93s
“Now, most of us got the savior part. It's the lord part that we've yet to catch up on. That's why that's why we extend the love, life, and what? Lordship. The lordship of Jesus Christ and what that what that what that lordship is about. It's not just Jesus being lord over our enemies. And lord over our circumstances but it also means Jesus being over us. And the lordship of Jesus Christ says that we are under his orders. We are under instruction. We are under his authority which means we don't move on our own. We move according to his direction. We answer to him and him alone. Now, this notion of our being on assignment and under orders says that there really isn't a such thing as me being a volunteer.”
53s
“Gotta let go of that and embrace god's assigned place and watch what god does Because here's the thing, no eye has what? Seen. No ear has heard. Neither has it entered into the hearts of anyone of us. What good things the lord has prepared for us, for those who love him. So I've gotta ask the question, what do I want? My imagination or god's purpose and will? Being under orders means we let go of the imagined place, accepting god's assigned place, and watching what god does. Watching work. Watching God work.”
65s
“Never think that god's just doing stuff in your life just for you. No. No. No. You don't get the full revelation if you just look at you. It's when you interact with other people for whom what god is doing is intended, that things begin to make sense. They hear these unlettered Galileans operating in a way that would not normally operate to reach a people that they would not normally reach. And they're astounded by what they hear. Barriers are eliminated. God understands us. We no longer have to learn Hebrew to understand God, but god understands us. He's speaking our own language. It was for the people. It was for the people. God does stuff in your life for the people whom he wants you to interact with.”
66s
“It it is it it it is when what god has invested in them, what god is working in them makes sense because what god is doing in them and and has invested in them is not for them. It's for others. What god was doing in them was not for them. It was for the people whom they would meet. How is it that we hear the wonderful works of god in our in our own languages? God brings the people to them to observe what he's doing in them for them. He's speaking their language. They're speaking the people's language. And and God God God does stuff in our lives that doesn't make sense until you meet the people for whom it really is intended.”
