#TrustGodsWord
“Can you trust God at his word? Do you believe that what God has said is true? Because ultimately, everything in our lives hinges on this. Do I believe God is faithful? Do I believe God at his word? God invites us to know him, to find forgiveness and mercy in him, to to receive salvation through him. Whether God is faithful, whether God keeps his word is essential to who we are. Can I trust God? Do I believe that he is faithful?”

#GodNeverChanges
“James reminds us again, God does not change. God does not shift like the shadows. He remains constant and fixed in his word and in his invitation. God was the one who has chosen to give us life. Do we trust him? Do we believe him? Rahab staked her future on who God is as a faithful, oath keeping God. And ultimately, each one of us have to make that same choice. Will we trust God at his word? Do we believe that God is faithful? No. How do we know? Kind of the follow-up question is, I wanna believe God is faithful, how do I ultimately know? At some point, it takes a step of faith.”

#FaithfulGodInJoshua
“You see, we've spent the last two weeks looking at who Joshua is and and where he finds his identity. Today, as we start his book, we quickly realize how little the book of Joshua is about Joshua. It's it's not even really about the promises and the actions of the specific characters we're reading about this morning. Instead, we find that this book is ultimately just one more example of the unerring faithfulness of God. A God who promises to never leave us or forsake us. A God who promises to remove our sins as far as East is from the West. A God who invites us into his kingdom through the gift of his son, Jesus.”

#MosesProclaimsFaith
“Moses is facing his own death. Moses is facing the consequences of his sin. Remember, for forty years, he's been leading the nation towards the land of promise, and God has just told him a year earlier, you don't get to go in. You don't get to go see the land of promise. Stay on the mountain, you can look at it, but you don't get to go in. Moses proclaims the goodness and the faithfulness of God. Even though he's facing consequences, even though he's about to die, everything else in his life kind of fades in comparison saying, this is who God is. God is faithful. God fulfills his word.”
