“``I think the Lord says that because the verse 10 through verse 11, he talks about, I'm going to give you a land that you didn't work for, with wells that you didn't dig for, with vineyards that you didn't plant, with livestock that you didn't have to herd. I am blessing you with prosperity. And here it is, verse 12. And be careful that you do not forget the Lord. And sometimes the prosperity and the abundance that we receive in the natural world because of good decisions and hard work and favor on our lives can cause us to forget the Lord. We stop going to church. We stop praying. We stop leading spiritually. We stop because we've got more work to do and more decisions to make and more finances to manage and more projects going on. The prosperity creates the busyness that hinders the spirituality that created the favor and the prosperity to begin with. As Bill Johnson says, the busyness that is created by revival becomes the greatest enemy of sustaining that revival. God is saying, keep me in front of you in lean seasons and in fat seasons. Don't forget the Lord.”

“As I asked myself and our staff this week, I ask you, men, are you worth imitating? If I followed you around or someone else followed you around for a month, would you want us to clone you and duplicate you? I'm not saying that to condemn you or or to judge you. I'm saying the father is summoning us. Remember, I'm just Bob Ross painting happy little trees this morning. And I'm just reminding you, God, that there is no greater calling, no greater adventure than surrendering your masculinity to the masculinity of God. Saying, God, would you raise me up as one who imitates you and who is worthy of this calling? Galatians chapter four”

“That is a noble calling, man. That is a calling that is worthy of a wholehearted and robust amen from you. That privately and publicly and consistently you say before God, amen to that definition of fatherhood for my life. I wanna be a voice of encouragement to anyone and everyone. I wanna be a voice of comfort to anyone and everyone. And anyone that gets within the circle of my voice, and my love, and my influence, and and my reach, I wanna encourage them and urge them to live lives worthy of God and not to waste their life on the temporary, dissatisfying, poisonous things of this world.”

“Sometimes you just gotta get around other men who are just gonna be on the sidelines of your race, offering you a cup of water in your marathon saying, keep running. Don't stop. And to have men around you who will encourage you that this is a faithful commitment. It's not an obligation to follow Jesus. It's a privilege to follow Jesus. Amen. For him to look at knuckleheads like us, who think we're more than what we really are. And to say, can make you more than what you really are. The father must fight for kingdom priorities, run with endurance, and keep the faith for himself and for the sake of others around him.”
