#OffTheTreadmill
“Arthur Brooks realized that no matter how fast he ran on that treadmill of gain, it just kept the the goal just kept getting farther away. He was exhausted. He was suspicious of his peers, and he was starving for security that could not that his stats could never provide. And so, friends, this is where the gospel meets us on our own treadmills because our direction in life, our destination is not secured by how well we look at God, but how well he looks at us.”

#HeTookOurCurse
“And in verse 10, we see that Jesus was the one who voluntarily chose to be pierced for our pains that we caused by going off course. Jesus took the striver's curse upon himself and at the cross, what was he stripped of? Food and clothing. He was stripped of food and clothing so that now we could be clothed and we could be provided for. We clothed his righteousness and provided for us a daily bread. He takes the curse upon himself and gives us his comfort.”
