#ConfidenceInTheShepherd
“``And people will look at you in the middle of your chaos, the middle of your trouble, and they will say, how can you believe that? How can you keep going? How can you? How? How? How? And you say, because it is not the peace that I know, it is who I know. And my confidence comes from him. My confidence is not built on the circumstances around me. It is built on the shepherd inside of me. And I know that he knows me, and I know that I know him.”

#PeaceThroughTheShepherd
“And when you look at this, and you look at the confidence that comes, you know, when you have confidence inside of your life, do you know what ultimately you have is peace? And I believe that's what every person in this room, that's what everybody watching online, that is what you desire more than anything is peace. And peace comes from knowing the shepherd and from the shepherd knowing you. Peace comes from the protection of the shepherd, from the shepherd fighting things that you didn't even know were out there, protecting you. And peace comes from allowing the shepherd to guide you. Peace isn't found in knowing where you're going. Peace is found in knowing who's leading you.”

#UnseparableFromTheShepherd
“And, you know, oftentimes, it's in the midst of that trouble, and it's in the midst of that heartache that you have to say he's still my shepherd. He's still protecting me. And it's not the fact that my life is trouble free. It's the fact that I feel his power and his presence in the middle of that trouble. I wrote this statement down, like, three weeks ago, and I knew I was gonna be preaching and teaching on this psalm. And and it was something that I just I reworded about 50 times, and I probably one of y'all could probably reword it better. But this is what I I wrote. It says, the safest place in life isn't where nothing can touch you. It's where nothing can separate you from the shepherd. Amen. don't wanna live a bubble wrapped life. I just wanna live a connected life, and I wanna make sure that there's nothing that can separate me from my shepherd.”

#Godfidence
“Because I believe that more people right now want confidence than ever before or Godfidence than ever before. The Godfidence that comes when you put your faith and your trust in him. The Godfidence that comes from the inside, not the outside. And when you stop chasing the confidence that comes from the outside and start chasing the Godfidence that comes from the inside, it's at that moment that you begin to see exactly what God wants you to see. You see David's confident wasn't built on an easy life, and I found that confidence doesn't come from an easy life. Confidence comes because of a faithful shepherd.”

#LifeChangesWithTheShepherd
“You see, everything in life changes. Everything in life changes when God stops just being a shepherd, and he becomes your shepherd. Everything in your life will change. Everything in my life changed when I realize that he's my shepherd, that he cares about me, that he loves me. My responsibility is simply to know, to trust, and to obey.”

#ProtectionInHisPresence
“Think about the protection that he gives us. Oftentimes, you know, we we feel like God's protection should be the absence of trouble. And I've learned that in my life, God's protection isn't the absence of trouble. It's his power and presence in the middle of my trouble. It's the fact that I can rely on his power and his presence in the middle of my trouble.”

#IShallNotWant
“The confidence comes in knowing that the shepherd knows you. The second thing is this. You can have confidence, godfidence, because the shepherd protects you. I love what it says in in in the second part of verse one. It says, I shall not want. Now think about that for a moment. I shall not want. See what David David isn't saying, I get everything I want. Right? He's saying that because I have the shepherd, I have everything I truly need. Right? That's the difference. I have everything I truly need. Because if I have the shepherd, I have everything. But if I don't have the shepherd, I have nothing.”

#RestBecauseOfTheShepherd
“And I think it's interesting because when he says he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. You know what I found out about sheep this past week? Sheep will not lie down until they are at peace. If a sheep is hungry, it will stay standing. If a sheep is fearful, it will stay standing. If a sheep senses predators, it will stay standing. Only when the shepherd removes the fear, the uncertainty, and the doubt will a sheep lay down. And it says in verse two, he makes me lie down. Meaning when you put your confidence in the shepherd, when you obey the shepherd, when you trust the shepherd, he will make you lie down. Meaning he will put a peace that surpasses all understanding on your life.”
