“Judgment is for believers. The purpose at this Bema seat is not to determine salvation, but it's to determine your faithfulness, your service, your stewardship and your motives. And when God speaks to your heart and you walk away not paying attention or ignoring what God is speaking to your heart about, these things will be brought to light at that at that time. Believers may gain rewards or lose rewards but they themselves are saved. So we're going to be rewarded according to our faithfulness, our service, our stewardship and our motives.”

“So every person on the planet, your life is being recorded but your works are being recorded and being written down. A lot of people have developed a Christianity concept that I can just do what I want to and grace covers me. Well, the thing is that your life is being recorded. God is writing everything down, even everything you say and I am going to talk about that in just a moment. So, what are these books of works? It's not the book of life I am referencing, but what are these books of works? These books appear to contain God's complete record of every person's deeds, his words, motives and actions.”

“This is some of the essence of the song and I was reflecting on that that you know, at my age I'm thinking, where has life gone? Time has gotten away from me. Meaning that there's not much time for me and there may not be much time for you. In fact, majority of us when we lay it really down on a timeline, your life is very short and you never know what that day will be or how it will come and that's why you need to be readied for the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have not done that, I encourage you to receive Christ into your heart and say, I'm a believer Jesus. I receive you into my heart today and believe in you. And if the bible says that if you'll do that, you will be saved and your name is written in the book of life.”

“So, some practical definitions here that I want to share with you. Idle words are the words that are careless, untrue, harmful, empty or spiritually unprofitable. Speech that does not reflect the heart submitted to God. These are the things that we're talking about. Idle words are not merely words that accomplishes nothing, they are words that reveal a heart disconnected from God's purposes. God hears every word but he especially values words that encourage, edify and glorify him. So, may I just kind of pause here a moment and tell you that our communications within our body of believers, this is a family of believers, is that we speak to edify one another. We don't we don't curse, we don't talk down, we don't bludgeon other people with our words but we are there to uplift them and encourage them in any way possible. And even if you you have a smidgen of dislike to those people which you should get rid of that, even talking to them in a polite and correct and uplifting way is demanded by Jesus. Jesus wants us to uplift one another and speak good things that are edifying.”
