#FaceYourMortality
“I can't tell you what's gonna happen to you. The only thing I can predict about your future to a 100% accuracy is that you will die. Whether it's tomorrow or a hundred years from now, you will die. And you will stand before God and you will be judged. And if you're judged on the basis of your actions, you will be found guilty. But if you're judged based on your faith in Jesus, then you will be cleared. And I I I can't tell you what to do about everything else. But I can tell you what you can do right now to make it so that no matter what happens between this day and your funeral, you're secure. And that's to realize your need for Jesus, to recognize he's your only hope for rescue, and to call out to him for rescue.”

#SavedByGrace
“You are guilty, but I give you eternal life. Not because you're good enough, not because you've done enough, not because you're better than other people, but because you realize who you are. You realize the weight of your sin. You realize who I am, and I'm the only one that can save you, and you want rescue. Now he said, I'll give all this stuff away, and some people are like, well, you gotta give a lot of stuff away, you gotta do this. Wasn't saved by a promise. He didn't give anything away yet. He hasn't done it yet. He just promised to. He's not saved by a promise to give some money to charity. But it's the response of his heart that leads him to the action that saves him.”

#ChildlikeFaithSaves
“Jesus came to seek and save the lost, but he doesn't force you into it. He gives you the opportunity. When you realize you're a sinner, you know who you are, and know who he is, and know your need for him, and cry out to him, Lord, please. Lord, please. I can't do this. You don't understand how bad I am. I know how bad I am. You don't understand how bad I am. I cannot do this. If I stand before you, I am guilty. I am lost. Please. Like a toddler reaching up, please. Those are the ones who are saved. You could go through that crowd and pick out a thousand people who are better people than Zacchaeus. But at this moment, all of those things that they had done to make them better didn't mount to anything because they had not been forgiven, and he had. They had not been rescued, and he had.”

#PrideBlocksSalvation
“Maybe you're not Zacchaeus. Maybe you're the crowd. You're not the worst person you know. You look around and you see all these terrible people around you, all these people around you, and here's what I want you to know. You are in danger. You're in danger because you may not be the worst person. You may not be Hitler. You may not be Epstein. You may not be your least favorite president. You may not even call the cops on the kids for the lemonade stand. You may not be that person, but you are guilty before God. You will be condemned and you will spend eternity in hell. And you thinking that you're not that bad, you minimizing your sin is only keeping you from Jesus. You need to be aware of who you are Because Jesus went directly to the worst guy in town and bypassed all the people who thought, I'm fine because I'm better than him. I'm fine because I'm better than them. I'm fine because I've done this, and I've done that, and I've done this, and I've done that. I'm fine. Those are not the ones that receive salvation.”
