#ChristIsSovereign
“We trust in a God who not only says that he is in control, but who came to this earth, took on flesh, and was in control. Submitted himself to death taking the punishment that we deserve. We can trust in his control because he showed the ultimate control by taking our sin, by breaking death and offering life.”

#LetGoOfControl
“Thinking that we have control is an illusion that will absolutely destroy us the longer we try to hold on to it. It's like trying to hold on to a hot iron. Maybe you can do it for a second. Maybe you were one of those kids who played a challenge with your friends when you were little and you could hold on to it for thirty seconds. It's gonna destroy you.”

#TrustThroughStruggle
“Trust is a discipline and it's a hard one, especially when we find ourselves in seasons of struggle. When we're in seasons that are fine, it we can kind of forget our need for trust. When we're in seasons of struggle, it's when we need it the most and can maybe sometimes find it the hardest to grasp. But the response in struggle is not to resist harder for control, but to trust more.”
