“``The early church knew that if it was not for that message and the truth of that message, they would not be able to survive. They would not exist as an early church. The message of the gospel in the early New Testament, early Acts was that Jesus lived, he died, he rose from the grave, and he was now coming back as king. And this was central to the concept of the early church in the book of Acts. Think about it this way. In the early church, they knew if Jesus were dead, the church was speechless. But they knew he was not dead and a tomb was empty and Jesus was resurrected. Therefore, the early church had a voice. Let me say this, we have the same voice today. How many knows that Jesus is not dead, he is alive, and he's alive forevermore.”

“Jesus comes to put back. Luke four eighteen says, to set liberty those that are oppressed. Did you know that in the King James where the word there is used oppressed in the original meaning is the word bruised. So what Jesus is saying, there's men and women that you've been bruised. A bruise is what happens on the inside. You're not bleeding on the outside, you're bleeding on the inside. And Jesus said for men and women that in your soul, in your heart, you're so broken, you're so heavy that you're bruised on the inside. Jesus says, I've come to heal your bruises.”

“discipleship, our forgiveness must be stronger than the world's unforgiveness. Our grace must be stronger than the world's guilt. discipleship, our love must be greater from the those that have been turned aside. Our truth in discipleship at Oaks, it must be greater than the deception that is in this world to bring death and destruction and darkness. But I'm telling you, Jesus Christ is the answer. And listen, they've said that we have problems right now that this world can't fix. They're trying to solve it through AI and many other mechanisms. But I'll tell you this, education is not gonna solve all the problems. Technology is not gonna solve all of the problems. Money is not gonna solve all the problems, but there's not a problem that Jesus Christ cannot solve in humanity and the church. What we need is we need Jesus back into the center of the church.”

“Let me ask you a question. Have you ever had your heart broken? Come on, show of hands. Come on, show. Have you ever had your heart broken? There's people listening to me today online and on campus that would say, I don't know. My heart's broken in so many ways. It's so shattered. I don't know if it'll ever be put back together. Could I tell you Jesus Christ is the excellent person to come to a shattered heart and put your life back together? He's not only a savior of sins, he's a healer of our emotions.”
