God Knows What He’s Doing - the Omniscience of God

God’s omniscience gives steady ground when life gets rough and circumstances do not make sense. God knows what He is doing, even when loss, sickness, a broken relationship, a lost job, or a hard season makes somebody ask, “God, what are You doing?” Faith refuses to judge God’s will by what things look like right now. God can lead His children into places that feel uncomfortable, scary, and uncertain, yet those places can still be exactly where He wants them to be.

The road to joy, peace, and abundant life is obedience and surrender. Hard seasons can also produce empathy, allowing wounded people to comfort others with the comfort God gave them. God uses scars, failures, lack, and pain to make servants more merciful, more appreciative, and more useful for His glory.

Jeremiah’s seventy years in Babylon show that God’s good plan may require a long process. God had to line up kings, provision, protection, people, maturity, and timing before Israel could return. God’s timing in the church’s journey and in a delayed law-school path shows that what feels late may be God preparing hearts for what comes next. God is not trying to destroy surrendered people. God is working things together because He knows what He is doing.
