33s
“Why did I go through that? Why did my family experience that? And it may be a year, it may be ten years, but God's faithful. And if you're faithful to him, he will tell you eventually why you went through it. He will. That's why James says, James chapter one, he says, when you find yourself surrounded by various trials like sharks in the ocean, all you look and see is jaws. He says, don't ask for deliverance. He said, ask for wisdom. Amen. And he'll give it to you liberally.”
27s
“What do you do when God brings you out of a place of bondage and sin and you're accustomed to living by the work of your hands and not by faith? That's what the children of Israel were doing. They were slaves. They worked with their hands. God was leading the Jews into the wilderness so that his divine purpose could be fulfilled in the hearts and in their lives of the Jews, but they didn't know what the future held for them.”
