#FaithInTheBreak
“this is a picture of faith. Because, see, faith isn't pretending the ship's fine when it's breaking apart. Yet, how many church folk? That's that's kinda your story. Come in here buttoned up, pretend everything's good. Right? Put on the plastic smile. This is faith though, not pretending that the ship's fine when it's breaking apart. Faith is looking reality in the face and saying, this is real, but it's not final.”

#HurtButNotFinished
“Because God didn't call me here to lose. He didn't put me here to lose. See, Paul understood the snake can't rewrite the promise. The bite can't cancel the assignment. The opinion of the crowd can't overturn the word of God. So I may be hurting, but I'm not finished. I may be disappointed, but I'm not defeated. I may have been bitten, but the venom doesn't get to have the final say.”

#PromisesOutlastPlans
“You know, we can spend so much energy asking God to save the ship. Right? Like, save this plan. Save this opportunity. Save this version of my future. And God says sometimes I'm gonna save you, but not the ship. That thing's not coming with you. Right. Because, see, some ships were only built for one part of our journey. Some methods have an expiration date. Some things carried you through last season, but they're not gonna be able to carry you through the next season. So, friend, be careful not to confuse losing what you carried with losing where god's taking you.”
