#HealingIsCommunal
“``Healing is never presented as a private event alone. We should never think that we can walk this walk, this journey of Christ alone. The church bears one another's burdens. We're to come along the side of each other, and then oil represents consecration. Praise the lord. Throughout the scripture, oil often symbolize god's presence and the holy spirit. The power is never in the oil. The power belongs to god. It belongs through Jesus Christ. God is the healer. James never promises that every illness was gonna be immediately disappeared. He promises that god would hear our prayers. So sometimes healing is instantaneously, just like I experienced with daddy. Sometimes healing comes gradually, and sometimes healing comes through physicians.”

#SufferingIsNotPunishment
“But I love when the disciples asked Jesus who sinned because if you notice throughout the different healings, they were not the same. One person came to Jesus boldly, knelt down to him, and said, are you willing? The lady of the issue of blood, she just touched, didn't even ask, just touched. Then there's the man who was paralyzed full of sin, but Jesus did an ultimate miracle. He created sight, and he reminded the pharisees about their blindness. And this is what we get to know, that not all suffering is punishment. Sometimes God is preparing to reveal his glory.”

#GodStillHeals
“Because we believe that God anoints doctors with knowledge. Praise the Lord. And so there will be various scriptures that we'll go over, But sometimes people wonder, does God still heal? People ask that question in the hospital room. They ask it when they have this difficult diagnosis. They ask when they're grieving a broken relationship. They ask it while suddenly battling depression, anxiety, addiction, shame, and grief. They are asking, is there a god who still heals? And some carry the scarves that no one can see. But the good news, my family, that God reveals himself as a healing God.”

#MiraclesRevealHisHeart
“And Jesus demonstrates God's healing heart. Throughout the gospel, Jesus healed continuously. Miracles reveal the kingdom of God. It's about his kingdom. And knowing that God is a healer is a wonderful thing, but god simply doesn't tell us he heals, he shows us. He demonstrates. When Jesus walked the dusty roads of Galilee and Judea, every miracle became a visual demonstration of the father's heart. If you ever wanna know what god is like, look at Jesus. Look at what he did. Because it's not always about what he does, it's who he is.”
