69s
“``But you know what? That's nothing compared to the cost of the sinless son of God who left the glories of heaven and came down to this earth and went to the cross to die for my sins, to die for your sins. No no comparison. Do you realize this morning how much Jesus Christ suffered for you? He who knew no sin became for us, the penalty of our sins so that we may have eternal life. Beloved, that ought to stir your heart.”
47s
“You see, that was a divine appointment. Philip had a divine appointment, and I don't think it's just please understand this. I don't think it's just an army chaplain. I don't think it's Philip. I think it's every child of God has the responsibility to take the gospel to those who need to hear it. And God arranges. orchestrates. And I know I from West Virginia, I use a big theological term, but I just think it's neat the way god works. He orchestrates those paths.”

“The eunuch was reading, and and and notice how god uses the scriptures. He was reading from Isaiah chapter 53. He was reading about the suffering savior. And I wanna say something here this morning. If you're here and you don't know Christ as savior, I believe with all my heart, you're seeking or you wouldn't be here. God is speaking or directing you here. And it's the scriptures. It's the authority. It's not man's sayings. It's not telling crazy stories. It's the power of the word of God that changes lives.”
68s
“And Philip asked the eunuch. Very simple question. In fact, I I I love the way that, you know, Philip, you know, was when he's told to go join a chariot, he didn't hesitate. He went and joined himself to the chariot. And as the eunuch is reading the scriptures, Philip asked him, do you understand what you are reading? he didn't. And, beloved, the scripture tells us he couldn't understand because the natural man does not understand the things of god. They are spiritually discerned. Philip needed someone to take the gospel to share with him the message of salvation. The eunuch needed to hear that, and Philip was the man that God used to do that. How can I understand except someone explain it to me?”
