Yet God needs no convincing to pay attention. His gaze isn’t earned by perfect jumps or hidden by failed attempts. Every throw of the volleyball, every fumbled serve, every attic tug-of-war matters to the One who counts hairs and collects tears. The same God who numbers sparrows leans in to count your tries.
