41s
“``Listen. We're not the land that we are because of something we've done. We're the land that we are because of the goodness and the grace and the mercy of God. And God wants you and me to walk with him. And listen to what he says. It shall what's the next two words? To pass. In other words, God says, I want you to bank on it. If you will do what I tell you to do, it will come to pass. It will be a living reality in your life and you will see my blessings.”
32s
“If you will obey me, I will initiate. In other words, God says, I'll cause it to happen. Many times in this text, God says, I will. I will. I will. Now listen carefully. When God says, I will, you can bank on it. You make it your business and your personal life to obey God. God says I will. Now God's gonna say something else beginning in verse 15. He says, choose not to and I wanna give you some warnings and I'll get to that next Sunday.”
41s
“God makes it very clear to the nation of Israel what they can expect if they will obey him and listen to him. Do you ever stop to think of the bounty of your blessings? I want you just to think about this. If you have a change of shoes or have shoes at all, you're better off than millions of people. If you have one meal a day, you're blessed. If you have a roof over your head and a home to call your own, you're more blessed than so many people in many other countries. If you own one automobile, you're better off than 75 to 85% of the world's population.”
28s
“You and I have been through so much. Our country has been through so much. And in just a few days, we will celebrate our Independence Day, but we are really very far from being independent. We may be independent of other countries, but we have been and we are so dependent upon the Lord God for his blessings, for his bounty, for his goodness, for his mercy.”
