“I want you, when you think of father God, to think of him smiling. And that's another thing in the Hebrew blessing. It says, may his face shine upon you. May he give you peace. That that means his face shining actually means smiling. It means that he is actually smiling over us. That doesn't mean that we always do everything right. That doesn't mean he's not gonna correct us. But in correction, it's love. It's to help us to come back in alignment with him, and and it's to teach us. It's not to, like, push us away. It's meant to draw us back into relationship, the correction. So that that joy is just over the fact that we're his children. It's not over our performance and all that we've done, and it's taken me a lifetime to learn that because, you know, we naturally just fall into perform the performance trap. Right? But it's just we have to just be so secure in our identity of just being beloved children that we don't feel like we have to do so many things.”
