47s
“And I don't know about you, but I think it's really, really easy to kinda love the idea of changing the world while completely ignoring our neighbor who lives next door. It's a sexy idea until, like, we've gotta do something about it in our own communities. But across the street means that we actually try to reach and disciple our neighbors and our friends. It means looking at the person who's right in front of you. People we work with, people we sit alongside at games and concerts and at school. And so in that sense, mission starts right where your feet are planted.”
30s
“Which means that the goal that the goal isn't simply to get people to say yes to Jesus. It's not the goal. The goal is to help people spend the rest of their lives following Jesus and then helping other people to do the same. So so discipleship then is like a chain reaction of grace, and it has been designed in such a way that it can be replicated.”

“Because I think it's easy to, like, show up and spectate, and then not engage. And I want you to hear from me. We we need you. Like, we really need you. Don't don't just assume, it's a big church. There are a lot of people. Listen, you bring something to the table that we don't have. And when you don't engage, when you don't serve, when you don't make disciples, then we lose out. Then we lose out. So this isn't just a crowd of random individuals anymore. This is a family of brothers and sisters who are on assignment to bring glory to God by making disciples of Jesus Christ across the street and around the world.”
