#DesignedForEverySeason
“``So God has a design. He wants married people to live in precious intimacy. He wants single people to understand how important it is for them, to leverage their time as a gift unto the Lord, to live every day as a living sacrifice surrendered to him. He wants widowed women and men to find great joy in their place in the church and encouraging other people as they're using their days, praying, lifting up supplications petitions for others, washing the feet of the saints, caring for the afflicted. What a what a gift to honor God in whatever status you might find yourself in.”

#OneKeyOneHeart
“So this is what I want you to think about when you're applying these truths to marriage. God's design for those who are married is to cultivate unrivaled sacrificial for your spouse. That's really what verses three through five are all about, That a husband is called by God to take the only key to his heart and to his mind and to true intimacy and he takes that key and he places it in the hand of his wife. He doesn't make a copy for anyone else. It's only for her.”

#GospelFullCircle
“So to conclude, Paul wants us to understand that the three circles that we showed you on the screen, if you're living your life through the power of the gospel, you and your life will come full circle. And if you're married, you throw off the greatest enemy to a flourishing marriage, which is the enemy of self centeredness, and you face this enemy believing in the power of Christ, confessing the sin of selfishness, so that then thanks to the gospel, you can daily cultivate unrivaled sacrificial love for your spouse.”

#WidowsServingWithHope
“And if you're a widow, you vigilantly pray. You'll wash the feet of others through your service and love. As you cry tears missing your loved ones and missing your spouse, you trust the Lord with the fact that there will be a sweet and certain eternal reunion that is coming and until that day, you just wanna honor Jesus with what he's given you, with all the energy and effort that he has blessed you to have. So in the power of Christ, through your tears, you take them to the Lord and he replaces them with a longing for this sweet reunion and a devotion to every good work that he has for you.”
