#GivingObedience
“The Gen Z version of this, Paul is saying that when I see you with an offering, it's giving obedience. Come on. Say that with me. It's giving obedience. When God sees you show up at over and above offering moment and you're ready to give, God's like, it's giving obedience. This means you have a heart that is ready and willing to give. And like Paul was saying, this shows your obedience to the good news of Jesus Christ. How many of y'all know talk is cheap? But when you come with an offering, the proof is in your pocket”

#MoneyShowsCharacter
“God is looking at how you handle finances, and he's deciding, can he trust you with more? Can he trust you with spiritual authority? Can he trust you with a spiritual office? Can he trust you with what is most precious to him that is his children, his sons and daughters? Can he trust you in leadership, or are you gonna do things that are only advantageous for yourself? You prove it with how you handle your money. You know, this scripture is telling us that we cannot go to God and say, well, God, when you give me more money, then I'll have more obedience.”

#TrustGodNotMoney
“Okay, Lord. I know you're leading me to do this because you see something that you wanna take me higher. There's an area of my life where there's breakthrough coming. God is doing it's almost like he put the test down in front of you. He said, how you gonna act? What you gonna do? Yeah. You just got that bonus, but I'm asking for it. Yeah. You just you have that money you've been saving, but God is saying, do you trust me, or do you trust the money? can't put your trust in uncertain riches. You can't put your trust in worldly wealth.”

#GiveFromLove
“Now I'm not saying that we give to get. That is not our motivation to give. Our motivation to give to God is because we love him. We wanna build his house. Our motivation is like what Paul was saying in that scripture that when we give an offering, it is a proof of our obedience to the good news of the gospel. But when we give, the word says we can't expect a harvest. That when we give, it is given back to us. That God does multiply the seed of the sower, and we can attach our faith to God's word.”
